  1. The players have bent over and taken it from the owners in the past 2 CBA negotiations, at this point it's just Bettman looking for another round of bending them over a barrel and showing them the 50 states. Everyone except the NHL owners wants NHL players in the olympics. Fans want it, players want it, IIHF wants it, IOC wants it, and yeah they're all self serving rich assholes but the owners are the worst of the bunch in this situation. Do something for the fans for a change, try and grow the game globally. You have a chance to get all eyes on the game of hockey and they're not doing it cause why? They are short sighted and can't bear to tinker with their own schedule.
  2. They sure are, but the owners I find to be the worst because they're not even interested in trying to make something happen. Just going on and on about how horrible it is to stop the season and they don't get any money from it, poor babies. They weren't so concerned about shutting the season down when they locked the players out trying to squeeze more money out of them. The biggest losers in all of this are the fans and maybe it's time that the NHL actually did something to show that they cared about their fans as opposed to trying to part us with money all the time.
  3. NHL owners are greedy pricks, we knew this already.
  4. does a roster right now really mean much? I expect a ton of additions before training camp starts
  5. I suspect the prevalence of the term turn over is because most people tend to be offense focused as opposed to defense focused. I mean really if the offense does their jobs perfectly there will never be a turn over because even a forced turn over can still be boiled down to a mistake by the team with the ball.
  6. Oh 2005 was the worst AINEC. Marcus Howell was arguably the best DB they dressed in 2005, let that sink in for a bit.
  7. The Fantastic 4 movies have failed for a lot more reasons than the Thing looking silly. I recently watched the latest one and god what a mess that movie was. Nothing redeeming about that at all.
  8. Really what it comes down to is that the vulture has always had a stupid ******* costume so I don't mind them making it robotic looking because that's what they've done with these movies. They made the Falcon not be a joke, this will likely be the same thing. The Rhino is a tough one too cause how do you make a guy in a grey suit look intimidating in this day and age? A lot of the spider man villians had hokey costumes.
  9. cause this would be so much better?
  10. See and I watched that and thought that Keaton was going to be fantastic...
  11. That just looks terrible
  12. Key word should. Homan is a damned good player and should stomp all those teams
  13. No surprises. Sidorova gets hugely over rated as a player. Homan should be curb stomping all these teams anyway
  14. Is that Joe Mack out of focus behind him? That makes it 10 times better.
  15. all that being said I can't get over the stupid ******* scarf she always used to wear.
  16. Hard to argue with any of those players going in.
  17. the point isn't whether or not Avatar was a great movie or not, it's that it was huge money and when ever something makes money sequels get crapped out ASAP but Cameron can't even get those sequels done, and it is something he does care about so why expect him to make more Terminator movies? That was a long time ago for him.
  18. see, you're not THAT old yet
  19. James Cameron can't even get his sequels to Avatar out and Avatar made all the money when it was released. I wouldn't hold out hope for anything from the Terminator franchise after they continued to disappoint after T2.
  20. considering how late they put that staff together and the restrictions on getting coaches off other staffs that's a better group than I expected.
  21. but if your're so confident surely all you see is the big payday you're in for... or is it that you really don't have faith in your team?
  22. the fact that he played well when he got into games for us. We know he can handle backing up at the RT spot. I mean **** if we're going on young guy plays tackle so he must be good what ever happened to Skinny Dan Gyetvai? He got thrust into a starting LT spot, didn't mean he suddenly developed into a star. The ratio for the Bombers works having 3 americans on the OL so why make moves to get magic beans? If we're getting prospects we can do that in the draft just as well as making trades, in the mean time let's not **** around.
  23. that's because Rider fans are less than human and don't deserve the same treatment decent members of society do.
