  1. Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad. I have known how bad he is since his first go around here. Seriously we've already fired him twice, we didn't need the hat trick that badly.
  2. how about as the season winds down they're trying to drink the bar dry? It was an annual tradition at the student union bar in university at the end of the term.
  3. don't be like that, we're better than those assholes.
  4. Lapo definitely likes to rope a dope, but he doesn't appreciate how hard it is to swing momentum back when you need it.
  5. Citing yet another guy who is pretty much washed up as a professional coach? I am telling you coaches these days have had to evolve beyond kicking trash cans.
  6. All you need is a 3 game hit streak, and this team can accomplish that. Neither Saskatchewan or Calgary are juggernaut teams this season.
  7. Also from roughly a million years ago.... dinosaurs are extinct and that crap doesn't fly anymore. Coaches have evolved beyond the need to curse and scream and cut people at the drop of a hat.
  8. Hey us die hard who put up with this team sometimes probably could be committed
  9. The offseason is so long how can anyone not care about any bomber game? In 2 months time we will be begging for meaningless preseason games
  10. Rios was complete ass against the Stamps last week, him being out isn't a loss given that.
  11. Liberal brand has been poisoned in Alberta since the first Trudeau, most of the current anger isn't about who voted what way, it's about the way Alberta was talked about by the current parties.
  12. again this is why Albertans are pissed off. "oh you have it good, quit bitching" That's exactly how the states wound up with Donald Trump. When people are angry being dismissive of them only leads to more anger. Try listening to why these people are upset. Husky just laid off 500 more people yesterday, all those preconceived notions you spouted and all the facts about income and taxes in Alberta, it's not helpful to people who lose not only jobs but careers. Than you have the political parties offering no help for the oil and gas sector while making noises in the anti oil and gas vein and anti Alberta... Alberta was made out to be a pariah for political gain and you are damned rights that will lead to resentment. Now I personally don't believe this separatist talk is anything serious, it's just people voicing their anger. The anger is a valid feeling considering what has been happening the few years, it's time to take it seriously and not simply dismiss it.
  13. gee wonder why alberta feels like they do...
  14. It's a damning statement about our offense that Harris is far and away the leading receiver in terms of catches.
  15. With the bold you are not doing a whole lot to convince me that Lapo doesn't just ride his star players as far as they'll take him...
  16. He has one in Harris, he tries to ride him as hard as he can but it only goes so far. Lapo always relies on players being superb to make the offense work, he doesn't elevate anyone on his own.
  17. A guy who got fired despite having some all time great players
  18. The fact that this team has such highs and lows both on offense and defense throughout a game speaks more to the way players are used than the talent it possesses IMO.
  19. 02 was probably better, khari had I think 3 of the first 4 games with 5 td passes. Oh for the days when we had some top receiving threats and a great running threat as well.
  20. Solo was ****, the last jedi was ****. I'd put attack of the clones ahead of the phantom menace but barely. Otherwise I probably agree with a lot of the rankings above.
  21. The science on the greenhouse effect is not something you can really argue with. The debate is really surrounding predictive models and what should be done about it because it has a very real cost. Make no mistake, global warming is a real phenomenon.
  22. Yeah the carbon tax isn't as unpopular among oil and gas producers as Jason Kenney and other conservative premiers make it seem, they just use it as an easy weapon against their opponents cause TAXES BAD!!! I saw the carbon tax of Rachel Notley as an instead of PST and I would much rather we kept control of it in province than letting the federal government have control, but Kenney is all **** everything! so here we are. Now personally I am sceptical that they work as well as advertised, and I think it's more about feels than reals when it comes to reducing carbon emissions but whatever, governments always find new ways to tax people.
  23. Well there's no known cheap shot guys on Calgary or Saskatchewan.... awwww crap...
  24. he bought the pipeline because he had to in order to try and save some investor confidence in Canada. He certainly hasn't done anything to get it built, he killed other pipelines, he passed other legislation to hinder efforts to market it.
  25. So there are always ignorant pricks, just like all the ignorant pricks herp derping about the loss of oil and gas jobs. The only reason the state of things is this bad is political. If we as a country could get our product to market we could sell for a higher price and yes things wouldn't be booming like they were 15 years ago, but it would be stable and people would still invest in our country. Instead every party but one made varying promises to actively harm one of our countries big industries and one remaining place where people could get good jobs. Why shouldn't we be angry when our own government is handcuffing us and treating us like lepers for political gain in other parts of the country? The correct course of action is to marry climate change with responsible development of our resources, but not one party proposed that.
