  1. He was always there guy," he is only a couple seasons removed from an MOP type season, it was other aspects that let him down, and knowing how they have filled those holes he will no doubt be back to being one of the best qbs in the league "
  2. So I didn't want to be the guy to say that.... but you're not exactly wrong. I mean McCrae isn't at demskis level yet but it's the same type of guy just not as polished as a receiver
  3. The team works when it's winning double digit games each year and always hosting the east final. Without that I dunno how well it works.
  4. On the other hand Demski had 5 touches in the Grey Cup and got 28 yards out of it.... He didn't do enough just like nearly everyone on the team in that game.
  5. ehhh it's drawing a comparison between notable Saskatchewan figures with drunk driving histories. One guy gets to be premier the other gets suspended from the football team.
  6. Does versatility matter when you do what you do (get open and make tough catches for your qb) so well? Don't get me wrong, you can do a lot of unique things with Demski and he can hurt a team in so many ways... but sometimes you don't need a swiss army knife when you've got a tool that can do it's one job exceptionally well. Passport is the biggest plus in Demskis favour IMO. The versatility is just a nice bonus. In summary, just get both Demski and Lawler. Schoen too while we're at it. Then go out there and tear the rest of the league a new *******.
  7. Grant was a late signing last time too so I think that's just normal for the guy at this point. With Bailey I believe they want him back but not at a premium price point so they're waiting to see what happens with guys like Lawler and Schoen. THat's my hot take anyway,
  8. See in the states it's easy... you don't need to look into candidates, you're either on the blue team or the red team. Some few people drift between teams and if they don't like one for what ever reason they vote for the other.
  9. I believe noellers concern is that Bailey feels he should be on the list. If he was all but officially back he wouldn't care.... I don't agree but I get it.
  10. They really are overly sensitive aren't they? What a bunch of snowflakes. HE JUST COULDN'T PEE!!!!!! HE NEVER TOOK STEROIDS!!! WHATABOUTANDREWHARRIS!!!!111!!
  11. Not only are they stupid, they're not even good speakers. You can tell they don't know what they're talking about and someone else has told them their talking points. But hey why the uproar over a business deciding to drop networks? Is that not their right to make decisions about their services? If these networks are unprofitable why carry them? Though Republicans didn't like government meddling in the free market?
  12. Yeah I don't get why people keep saying losing Rourke is cap space for the lions. They lose space because anyone they get is going to cost way more than Rourke did last season. I mean save cap space compared to what Rourke would have made this year after getting a fay new contract sure... but not compared to last year.
  13. You knew changes were coming to a roster that couldn't piss a drop in the last part of the season.
  14. you know what haunts me? It's early in the game when Collaros just gunned a pass in to Oliveira I think that missed him. Maybe wouldn't have converted the first down but certainly could have made it close and a sure first down pass that Ellingson got his hands on and dropped. Think those were the first 2 series. Make those plays and the game might have gone differently from the outset.
  15. He probably could've/should've been starting in 2021. He is a damned good player. Believe he was ahead of gray on the depth chart then as well just for example.
  16. Honestly losing Demski would suck... but we wouldn't exactly be hurting for Canadian receivers with wolitarsky and what O'Leary Orange showed last year. Yes it would be a change in how the offense would work but so what? We have players and coaches that can adapt.
  17. Yeah there is just no way in my mind you can justify sinking that much into one guy... the Bombers strength for the last several years has been their depth and the ability to plug and play guys everywhere. you start having salaries that huge you impact your depth and you wind up like the riders bitching and moaning about every starter that gets hurt. Bombers still got one of if not the best offensive lines in the league we will be fine, but man I would have loved to see Desjarlais back here.
  18. Sucks he is going elsewhere but man that's a lot of cash for a guard....
  19. It's funny because they believe it. Give ODay a multi year extension! Do it!
  20. Smith has a history of blowing leads in polls by saying stupid **** though. Hopefully that trend continues.
  21. And likely to lose linebackers that were decent
