Is he trying to convince everyone else or himself? Honestly the whole thing gives me the vibe of he's hoping the Bombers come in fat and sassy. That's a fools hope. You want to beat this team you need to earn it. You gotta play you A game for 60 minutes of hard nosed football.

I have no doubts walters will keep the NI depth strong, but in the cfl the other big thing is qb. You have one you are golden and you don't have one you're in trouble. Long as this team keeps having solid qbing they will be fine. All things come to an end though. Eventually we will lose games again.

You see why I dislike lapolice so much. A big part of the O being crappy was the passive play calling which has been a lapolice issue forever and we saw it again in Ottawa. There was no reason for the offense to be as passive as it was.

I guess maybe given the state of health of the Bombers secondary you could put the lions ahead based on name recognition...

The o didn't have to be crappy. They played a passive game the while way through expecting the D to win. Believe me I still vividly remember how angry i was about it all game long. You do not win championships in this league by the defense scoring points for you without support from the offense, but that is what they tried to do in that game. Offense hangs onto the ball a little bit the defense doesn't have to do everything

Swaggerville didn't crap the bed in the Grey Cup, lapo forced them to try and win the game for the team, which didn't happen in the 2nd half of the season or the Grey Cup. Cfl you see it all the time. Defenses start faster than offenses and you can win games purely on D early, but as the year moves on you need the O to help out. In the Grey Cup it was the patented Lapo play not to lose offense a d guess what happened? Everyone laments Willis dropping an int that might have been a td (still would have been trailing)... you see the problem? We expected a defensive end to score touchdowns!

BC has not shown once this season that they can handle what the Bombers offense brings. Not once. Lions want to win Rourke is going to have to win a shootout and despite what TSN wants you to think Rourke wasn't shooting the lights out against the stamps. Solid game where he got lots of chances with the ball... but nothing earth shattering because the calgary offense was so inept. Maier had no end of trouble with the blitzes BC sent.... well Collaros isn't a young pup who gets spooked when you send pressure. Saw it when BLM went in too. He read it, threw the ball without panic and made plays. Plus this Bomber team knows how to win and what it takes to be at your best in the post season.... AND I really think that they are tired of the BC hype when for 3 years now the Bombers have been the unquestioned class of the league. Winnipeg is a more talented and more balanced team and has a huge physical edge. I really think you're going to see the Bombers not do what the stamps tried to do and win a shootout, but rather will focus on their tried and true grind it out slugfest, which BC is ill suited for IMO.

Bread and butter for this team has been rotating lots of bodies on the dl, and last game with all of adams Jefferson and Jeffcoat was super effective. Don't want to see them get away from what works.

Game 1 it was Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke... game 3 it was again Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke Rourke. And every time Zach collaros was like: It will be no different in the West final. Bc was celebrating like they already won the cup. Bombers don't take kindly to soft assed teams that think they're all that.

Both times collaros and Rourke faced off collaros took the kid to school.

Gotta think the Bombers were playing possum a bit the last month of the season.... reckon some teams are gonna get punched in the mouth when the playbooks open up.
