  1. Who prior to going to the stamps was a young kicker in another city who wasn't good enough.... the point here is that sometimes you gotta give young players time to grow. Legs isn't as awful a kicker as you make him out to be. The misses in the Grey Cup game were not the reason we lost. I'd point a hellnof a lot more fingers at the MOP, veteran, highest paid player in the league than a young kicker
  2. They actually said that? They know that it's the culture here that guys stay for right? Not purely wins and losses.
  3. Have y'all just tried not being crazy?
  4. But they use that formation to take shots often. The idea is get a one on one battle downfield. The issue on the play was a second receiver dragging extra coverage into the area. The read and throw happen before the receiver makes his mistake. I'm not trying to shitnon Bailey either, love that guy but the blame should go to him more than the qb IMO.
  5. Barr has been consistent at least. He isn't a Trump boot licker and never was, he just feels the president should be above the law. But hey if Trump does destroy the gop then barr can pat himself on the back for the role he played in keeping Trump safe and enabling this.
  6. But if the read was one on one deep because he expected the 2nd receiver to be shorter was the throw all that bad? Put it outside the receiver who had good positioning on the db....
  7. You know what 2 plays stand out in my mind? Ellingson drops a potential first down pass that could have kept the offense on the field and collaros just guns a short pass way too far from Oliveira on 2nd down to maybe get some positive yards... those are the plays this team usually makes and it cost em.
  8. The greatest shame of it all is that Rourke is going to take an NFL shot and we won't get the chance to show tburg how incorrect he is.
  9. This team has no quit.
  10. Demski will be back. All those comments mean to me is that if someone wants to back a dump truck full of money up to his house he will listen to them.
  11. That's what I said seeing the replay. Bailey needed to take his route shallower to the sidelines since it was the guy covering him that made the pick. Just one of many little errors the team made that cost them in the end.
  12. The word option is a pretty significant ******* word.
  13. One season ending injury and Wilson is an injury concern now?
  14. All Nationals will be required to sign a minimum 2 + 1 first contract and follow the salary grid You have the reading comprehension of a spoon.
  15. I see people in sask lamenting why Bombers fans didn't fill up the place... they really don't understand that their podunk little city doesn't have the required accommodations for such a large event.
  16. Yeah we still have the top qb in the league under contract for 3 more years, have a 1000 yard young NI rb, one of the best OLs which will be back, good receivers... and the best front office in the league and a culture that can't be beat. People writing the Bombers off are short sighted. I mean if that last kick goes through does that suddenly change anything about where this team is at?
  17. Because reasons.
  18. The fact that playing like ass is only a 1 point loss should terrify the rest of the league.
  19. Again, no one is arguing with what the cba says about the amount of the option year only that they don't need to exercise the option year.
  20. The reality is we will never know what would have happened with that kick were it not blocked and anything is speculation. I thought the kick looked low to my untrained eye, which is why it got blocked most likely, but we will never know for sure.
  21. I agree with the sentiment that we should be able to recruit someone who can be that guy.
  22. All year this team won because they forced teams to kick field goals while they scored tds. Last night the offense shat the bed and wasn't their usual opportunistic selves. That was the game in a nut shell.
  23. I don't think the OL was as big an issue as some are making it. Argos sent extra bodies a ton and collaros didn't pull the trigger on throws. He was very indecisive in the pocket.
  24. But they also got us a touchdown and and the ball back with a chance to win at the end with a huge blocked field goal. Yes there were issue but the biggest issue with fieldmpositon was an ineffective offense.
