I love how many people are jumping back on the bandwagon I do find this funny...

Why would it be funny? The majority of us want this team to succeed... we don't want the team to suck to get rid of anyone, we wanted to get rid of players and coaches because we thought they couldn't do the job... if they can do the job then we want them to stay and we love the team... not sure what's funny about that

J5V I appreciate your comment however if there was a loyal Bomber fan, I believe I can be counted in that group. I am 70yrs old and have been an avid fan since I was 8, think that makes it 62 years. I have had season tickets for many years and when not employed in Winnipeg watched and listened to them on radio and cheered in every town, city I was in. It isn't that I am not loyal but when you have followed them as long as I have and have witnessed the worst run in perhaps the history of the team, save for the few short years Reinbolt was here, there comes a time when you just can't see the logic in continually beating your head against the wall. I still watch and cheer on TV but my time and money are better spent doing something else like not wasting 3 hours of the day commuting to IGF to watch a less than entertaining event with a very stubborn coach who in my humble opinion believes loyalty to his players take precedent over loyalty to those who pay their and his salary. I'm sorry if you feel I jumped ship before it sank but I would rather swim than get taken down by the undertow. That is if I read your post correctly.

62 years? That's a long time.... I'm feeling the same way after 11

  3. I personally am starting to think this team is coming around... we had Edmonton on the ropes last game and some of the guys are building chemistry... Willy is struggling but I think we will see him get better and better the more he shakes off the rust and the less intimidated he gets... he's also starting to learn the offence more and more... I think we could win tomorrow and start really coming together as a team

I also think Justin Cole and Johnny Adams are going to be huge for the defence when they get back.. we could still see a good team this year... but it starts with a win tomorrow

  4. When you have such terrible talent every where Walters is the problem... doesn't help that O'SHEA is also so damn stubborn at keeping guys in stupid positions and playing the same guys over and over without actually looking for the problem he is also a huge problem.

Its no wonder why we played Peach for so long... we just can't find a guy to replace him... there's just so many issues with this organization that it seems hopeless to me..

Adams is already playing the boundary, which is arguably the most important spot in the secondary depending on the offence you're against.

Also think if our defensive scheme is set up anything like it was last season with the MLB playing more in a gap than in space, Bass is in the right place at WIL.

My thinking is the signings of Cummings and Shologan are going to free up the MLB to be a MLB... and we could move Randle back to boundry and Adams into Washingtons old spot.

  6. I'd keep hurl if we can fit him in the salary structure... he allows us to have a decent linebacker as depth without having to burn a DI on one. We need to find places to save on DI's because we have to burn two for special teams now.

I've noticed that a few people around here are wanting to replace Darvin Adams. I would love to know the reasoning behind that thought.  Adams did pretty well last year. In 15 games he 839 yards and 5 touchdowns.  If he plays 18 games that's over 1000 yards.  What's wrong with that?

I would personally like to see another DE to complete the D-line, but my real concern is with the secondary.  Who will fill the open defensive halfback spot?  That concerns me.

I think we're going to move Johnny Adams inside. Randle at CB, Leggett at SAM

Turner not moving the DE...  hopefully new blood, Green or Vaughn could have a feast with the push by rest of the line - really think Cappicotti's success had a lot to do with Shologan

Replace Adams - hopefully Cone or Collins steps up

No place for Hurl at $120k a year on this roster

Bomber scouts are good at finding DBs

Walters scares me when he says we're good at NI depth at OL - still talking like Neufeld is a starter

Other then good measurables at his pro day, what has Vaughn done that you continually pump him up as the starter?

And unfortunately it's looking like Neufeld us going to be a starter for us...

I think we have a better MLBer than Wild, his name is Bass. I would be surprised, if they decide to sit Hurl, if it wasn't Bass at Mike and Wild at WIL. Wild/Bass/Leggett or Randle would be a very good LBing corps.

The thought of this possibility makes me  very excited
