Any chance with his talent and grit we could add him to the Jets? I know they never rush rookies ( which is a good thing) but Mcgroarty looks like a beast...

Last time I saw a guy make that jump right into the playoffs was Keith Tkachuk in the 1992 playoffs against Vancouver, though he did play 17 games in the regular season first at least.

Utah is booming with lots of people with money moving away from California to Salt Lake City.   Lots of disposable income in SLC so it makes sense that they'd jump ahead and get a franchise.

At least that's what the show Yellowstone would have you believe. What's next, the Butte Attack? The Bozeman Bombers?

Nope, or his gig selling surgical stuff. He’s one of the most under utilized assets around Canadian football.
I do believe you are right and that the commish has to live in gta for head offices.

I think bc would be good with it. Ssk honestly hates randy enough that they’d take Doug or wade happily. Bc I think would be good with him, Alberta wouldn’t like him but they are two dumpster fires with fractional fan bases rn.

pinball in reality would likely get the first shot at that job.

I for one would really love to see Pinball as commish of the CFL but maybe first he runs for mayor of Calgary and gets a new stadium built there for the Stamps. 😜

Nikolai Khabibulin has retired for a second time. He retired from the NHL in 2014 and went on to become the goaltender coach for the KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. On December 27th, 2023, Khabibulin un-retired to play goal for Torpedo at age 50. He announced today he's finally hanging up his playing skates for good.

wow goalie at age 50.  I bet he was going through a lot of Advil lol...

  5. Watched Curb finale last night, it was fantastic.  Have to admit getting a bit emotional seeing Richard Lewis in the final scene.  Glad that he was given a lot of screen time in the finale and made me burst out laughing several times in his interactions with Larry.  Seinfeld also made an appearance and stole the show.  They even managed to work in how they should have done the Seinfeld finale, in the second last scene of the show, which was gold.  It was good to see Jerry and Larry David together again, if only for a few brief moments.

  6. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but tonight is the SERIES finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Larry is going on trial in Atlanta for giving Leon's aunt water while she was in line to vote.  I predict a Seinfeldian series end in which people from all across the history of the show come in to testify either for or against Larry.  Also will be good but very sad to see probably the last ever screen time for Richard Lewis, as he is in the episode.

Also the reaction isn't quite as big from Sandler (Carvey actually seems the most surprised by it) but I do remember them talking about this sketch and how Farley was supposed to be a nothing part in it, but he just decided on his own to take it up 5 notches to try and break the other cast. Unbelievably funny.
