  1. Disagree. It's shoulder to chest first.
  2. Fletcher or Carey would both be better than AJ.
  3. No QB sneaks isn't complicated.
  4. That's OK cuz they ain't a QB.
  5. Easy to administer... QB runs inside the 2 aren't allowed.
  6. QB sneaks shouldn't be allowed in lock of the week. There, I've said it, and it's a hill I'm willing to die on.
  7. West: Wpg - We squeak out the top spot due to Brady O & a shut-down D BC - Rourke isn't as good as the hype & salary, but he's still good enough. Edm - Ford shows he can play. Calgary - VAJ elevates them, but takes them a while to gell. Regina - OL woes = bye bye Harris & Maier throws to the wrong team too often East: Ham - BLM & Bombers east get it together. Ott - Great offence wins enough games to get a home playoff game. Mtl - 1st Year starting QB shows he needs another year. Tor - Lost a ton of players again.
  8. The team that tried to re-sign him 5 months ago.
  9. I thought that Strev threw pretty well, then I saw Wilson throw great ball after great ball. Some pocket awareness would go a long way towards elevating his game. Cooley reminded me of Mini Mack Herron... against the Riders 4th team. Collaros got hit on his first 5 throwing plays. Gotta fix that if we want to win the west. Nice to see Brady O being Brady. I didn't see a Bomber returner do much. No deep balls? In pre-season? Come on! No TD's? Yuk! Bomber ball back... Priceless.
  10. I'm watching the BC/Stamps game but almost no sound. Anyone else? Never mind... Its working now.
  11. I watched it a couple of times. Not for me. Just the same thing over and over. Give me 10 minutes of PLAP explaining something once a week instead.
  12. Actually, a Tik Tok campaign is more likely to reach the intended audience than a radio campaign.
  13. You'd rather have a 600K cap hit over 490K?
  14. It would be Collaros at a cap amount of $600K.
  15. https://www.inoreader.com/article/3a9c6e77d68f218e-qb1-money-cfls-highest-paid-quarterbacks-for-the-2025-season 1) Nathan Rourke, B.C. Lions (N) Hard money: $624,200 Maximum value: $624,200 The 26-year-old blew up the CFL QB market when he signed back with B.C. last August. At the time, Rourke inked a three-year pact for $749,200 in hard money in 2025, including $200,000 in marketing money, which does not count against the league’s salary cap. That structure from late last summer would have lowered his salary cap hit to $549,200 in 2025. After reworking his deal, he’s scheduled to earn $624,200 in hard money with $200,000 in marketing. Rourke’s salary cap number for this season checks in at $424,200. 2) Chad Kelly, Toronto Argonauts (A) Hard money: $615,000 Maximum value: $615,000 The 31-year-old quietly reworked his contract for 2025 this offseason. He received a $250,000 signing bonus and his deal includes $125,000 in marketing money. That lowers Kelly’s salary cap hit to $490,000 this year. 3) Zach Collaros, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (A) Hard money: $600,000 Maximum value: $600,000 The 36-year-old collected a $100,000 offseason roster bonus on January 15. He has a $500,000 base salary with $250,000 guaranteed. Collaros enters 2025 in the final season of his three-year contract signed in October 2022.
  16. The best Cinnamon buns in Winnipeg were Nelda's. We will never see their like again.
  17. I'll do the job for $75K plus travel expenses. I doubt I could do a worse job than scarf boy.
  18. I'd take Rourke. Huge possible upside for a single draft pick. I doubt he ends up in the NFL for more than a couple of years if that.
  19. Overpay - When other teams offer more than we do. Market Value - When we pay players the most for their position in the league.
  20. Meh. I expected it, but was hoping we wouldn't sign him.
  21. You really think that teams aren't talking to him or his agent?
