Nobody got a piece of Cormier... But Cormier got all of Collaros.

I see it as him finally being the shot-caller. He isn't a backup QB. A junior coach. A first time HC. He is a 3 time GC winning HC and GM with a big money contract who took over a franchise that can't afford to say "no" to him. For all we know, he's had a forceful personality all along but had to bite down on his opinions before because he wasn't who the buck stopped with until this season.

Argos won in 2017 with a 9-9 record, but we were 1st in the East (after going 5-2 in our last 7)

Coach Din has his own way and his own vision. I think given enough time he will surround himself with coaches and players and be a big problem for the Eastern division and the rest of the league.
I know that the Dru Brown thing set some people off. But whatever Dinwiddie's vision of a quarterback on his team is, I just don't think Brown fit it. And I don't necessarily think that's a knock on Brown.
And ultimately, as you know, taking responsibility for the team will fall on the coach. So he can throw people under the bus in this phase of his tenure because it isn't really a team in his image yet... He won't be able to do that once all the players and coaches are his guys.
And as it is, I would say that the Redblacks have the second lowest level of talent for a team in the league. So he's got some time to build something before he'll be held to account for results.
As for what you said about Grant losing a step, for me his speed has always been weird. He's the fastest moving player on the field, but at full clip it looks like he's just taking it easy and jogging. And there are guys next to him trying to keep up who are in full on sprints. His return the other night was like that too. Look at the guy who's trying to catch him versus his nice and easy run.
You can't teach speed, right?

Difference between a grant or Vaval is it looks like they are running effortlessly. Like almost looks like they are actually running very slow at times but you blink and that’s 15 yards. The guys trying to catch them? They look like they trying and running their fastest. Vaval on that 1 return recently, dude went 30 yards in 2 seconds and was the gone. Nobody even touched him and he out ran our own guys who were 20 yards ahead of him running their hardest. Just another level for Vaval and Grant. Gizmo. Etc.
