  1. oh. well Marcel Desjardins would have absolutely no reason whatsoever to employ subterfuge and misdirection so i guess that matter is closed...
  2. good thread idea. get on that!
  3. yet another reason to chop Mack prior to the end of the season. let you new guy (or interim) GM have a shot at getting a QB on the cheap that another team would otherwise lose for zilcho.
  4. actually Montreal is beginning to show signs of life...
  5. precisely why Mack didn't want Forde. regardless... if somehow JE or Muamba (or another key asset's) deals don't happen and Mack is chopped (either early or after the season) the blame game will reach heretofor unheard of volume on the forums.
  6. then again... someone has to get to work on extentions (JE, Muamba) and audit the roster before the offseason... do you really want it to be the guy you're going to tie the can to? if you're going to gun someone, you do it at or around labour day so whoever is put in charge (be he a "caretaker" or permanent) can make certain your key assets are in place for next season.
  7. and his family.
  8. Mack will be gone before his contract is up (next year). But the pain of his tenure will linger after with his hiring of Burke for 3 seasons, his O-Line that is no better no than it has been (Shannon Boatman is just embarrassing... and he's an import...don't get me started on Morley) and of course his instability under centre and lack of support for same.
  9. i don't think anyone is fast enough to run outside without proper blocking, playcalling to keep defence guessing wrong, or defenders making errors... and Simpson didn't have any of those going for him on his outside attempts against us... Harris and Sheets however did and they beat on us repeatedly.
  10. it is a subset of the "Senator Braley gets what Senator Braley wants" bylaw.
  11. there was a team meeting this week right? as in: the players took it upon themselves to hold each other accountable and try to sack up for this Friday, right? seems like a poor time to chuck an insult at them.
  12. i) thanks for reading ii) because i own the blog and have decided to moderate it
  13. that would take the fun (and bragging rights) away from anyone who outlasts me in this pool. last season only 1 lone Bomber fan got to say that he beat the Argos tailbacks.
  14. likely won't pick until Monday when i find out who the Sculler's starting TB will be.
  15. Coach Scott estimates 4-6 weeks for Kackert, but that could be adjusted on either side. He added that Kackert was "much worse" that Ray.
  16. i'll give you blitzing... and hit hits a ton when he's in the clear... but i think he has a tendency to be light at the POA and part of the reason RBs had been victimizing us is a tendency to arm-tackle. his stand-in last game (after Jones moved him outside into coverage) shed a block off of a tackle 100 pounds more than him and drilled Buck in the guts... i think that Jones saw that play and made up his mind. i would be surprised not at all if Orlondo hasn't already contacted BI.
  17. they extort money from companies to become members or else they can make them look bad. some people think that they're some sort of do-gooder gov't body that they can sick on a company that doesn't live up to their expectations (fair or not).
  18. i think the reason rhymes with "Mass Shove Her Age" i don't know though. coach Scott has been very explicit in the past when cutting someone about providing an explanation... we'll see. so... i guess Shane Horton gets the spot...
  19. think Ray was hurt that bad? i thought Kackert's looked worse. neither were taken to the locker room which i took as a promising sign. Ray seemed to be saying that he felt no pain to the trainer who was checking him out... ...even if he's OK though, i'd sit him against BC and play Collaros. that way he gets nearly 3 weeks off (with our bye next week).
  20. just refuting your weak claims as usual. carry on polishing Mack's accomplishments.
  21. we were 9-9 without a QB in 2010... mind you IIRC, Cleo Lemon had numbers superior to anything Buck ever had. so maybe that shouldn't count...
  22. true... beating the Bombers and TiCats does feel a bit like winning by default. until we beat a good team, the jury is out.
  23. you do realize that the BBB is pretty much a scam and has no ower or ability to do a darn thing, right?
