^^ Then there needs to another receiver besides Harris running a hot route on almost every play. Teams are starting to figure it out - blitz and make sure Harris does not get a first down most of the time. There needs to be someone cutting their pattern short and getting in behind the linebackers - the way a guy named Milt used to do it.

I agree - but he does need to be able to make some plays when he's not completely clean in the pocket - plays other than dumping it off to Harris.

My point is - that's going to happen in the course of a season - there are some very good DLs out there.

Nichols was almost completely clean in the pocket before Hardrick started having isses - you cannot expect that to be the case for an entire season.

It’s not just that. There are times when the opposition goes with max protect and we keep blitzing.

True. But I don’t mind watching him play. Overall, this year’s version of the Als plays very entertaining football.

With the O - line Willy had, it was at least a lot more understandable. The current O is loaded with weapons, plus good young Canadians and the best American OTs in the league on the OL. And Harris makes some outstanding blocks every game.

It’s gutless - but at the same time we have receivers getting punished because of it. Something has got to give, at some point.
