Hogan using Lapos old playbook, but all the pages are stuck together for some reason.
Lapo must’ve been watching halfback draw highlights on YouTube right before he gave it to him

“Could it be illegal contact now?”
is it really too much to ask that the people commentating the games know the rules?

Streveler trying to find a hole to get 4 yards instead of just bull rushing for the 1

Terrible throw by Zach.
This has been a trend with him all season. Hanging receivers out to dry.
The ball right before that one was too, he just airmailed it. You gotta imagine the receivers are getting frustrated. He’s been doing this all year.

Really hate that call … 2nd and 4, so let’s put the ball in the hands of a guy and force him to convert 2nd and 12

He makes starting QB money. He's not holding the team down anymore than any other starting QB in this loop.
Except for the terrible performance coupled to that money.
Nothing matters beyond this year anyways, our team is going to look so incredibly different next year. I’m baffled that we put Collaros on the roster next year but here’s hoping he’s the starter while Elgersma develops.
Bryant, Willie, Thomas, Kolo, Neufeld … I expect we see four retirements out of that bunch after we flame out in the playoffs before getting to the Grey Cup.

Rourke what the heck was that

From the scrum:
Q: "What's the benefit of the touchdown in that situation when you're already up 6?"
Jason Hogan: "Putting the game away. Y'know putting the game away. A 'kill shot' is really all it was. Instead of going up 3 (more) it's putting the game away, making it hard on the opponent. Little more momentum, maybe lifting the bench a little more...confidence booster, all that good stuff."
Q: "You don't feel like that same thing applies to being up 9? (blahblah about sergio being 100% FG from there)"
JH: "Sergio is going to hit...no doubt about it. But I think defense tries to go 0, 1, 3. We try and go 6, 3. Right? So that's the mindset behind being in the red zone is trying to be...trying to take shots when we need to when they're there. And we felt at that time was the right time."I feel like you not adding your own commentary tells me how you feel about that answer
all I know is he needs to learn from that, because that is an absolute clown answer

I wish someone had asked him a follow up question. What’s the difference between going up 9 or 13 there? That was an inexcusable call. There was 2:58 left … run the ball twice, kill a minute at minimum … make it a two possession game with 2 minutes and change left.
Even if you give them a 13 point hole instead of 9 … it was first down, you’re giving them an entire extra minute to work with.
God awful.

So Dexter Lawson goes on ahead of Cam Allen … weird
i know it’s not a direct connection but I really wish they’d find a way to get Cam Allen onto the roster at safety.
be nice if they maybe put Vaval at corner and used Allen in some packages as a rotational piece

The Cobb choice, given we didn’t use him as the second KR .. is also incredibly curious
I don’t know why some people keep denying it - there’s a clear lack of logic behind a fair share of our roster management choices. It’s not as if it’s only just started - this **** has been going on for years.

Everyone making Dillon Mitchell out to be some stud receiver is I think fooling themselves. His best season he had just over 700 yards. I mean. It’s not like he’s some stud. Honestly. Him and sterns have similar numbers in their career.
Then why did we pay him like a stud receiver? You keep missing that part of this equation.
I don’t think anyone here is clamouring for the use of Dillon Mitchell because we’re all long term members of his fan club. I think most of us are confused as to why we paid 150k annually to a guy who is turning out to be the 9th (at best) receiver on our depth chart.
