  1. No. They don't. Reilly slid. The play is supposed to be dead because he's giving himself up. There's no touch required in that situation. And to be honest, considering the way they flagged both Turner and Willis for such minor contact to a QB, I'm not sure the ref doesn't throw a flag if someone tags a QB after he slides.
  2. Every issue is a disaster.
  3. They must not have been pleased with his performance yesterday.
  4. The ball never went past Stamps. It was knocked down before it got to him.
  5. I knew we were hooped as soon as they could only get the 13th man flag halfway up the pole.
  6. He got the job because of injury and he's a very capable backup tailback but it's time to get Cotton a look.
  7. lol here we go. Willy has been exposed. As what? A quarterback who won't go undefeated?
  8. This. Especially the stutter steps. Just run straight ahead. You don't need to be dropping your shoulder to fake out a defender that is 5 yards away from you.
  9. Thought Sherman did a good job he just needs pointers. Flush your target inside, not out. He's getting better every game. I'd bench Grigsby.
  10. Apparently the "rule" is that he didn't give himself up because he didn't slide feet first. I don't know how it's written, but to me a slide is a slide and I guarantee you if someone had buried him, it would've been a 15. Definitely not the stupidest call by an official tonight though, which belonged to the guy who flagged Washington for belting Stamps in the end zone. Flag the play, not the result. Thought Odell Willis got tagged for one lame one too on Drew Willy. You can't hit a guy low, that doesn't mean you can't pull him down by his leg.
  11. I'd make some changes. Starting with Grigsby. Romby Bryant gave about as much effort tonight as I thought he would. Wouldn't change much else, aside from trading our offensive line for an offensive line that knows how to pass protect.
  12. That was definitely a bad call although I imagine you'll hear some people who think it was called right.
  13. If Randle picks one off today, my Twitter feed is going to explode.
  14. I worked in Convergys in high school on weekends. We didn't care anywhere near as much as this guy.
  15. I know what I wouldn't take. A cell phone. No reception on Randle Island.
  16. Darrelle Revis is a corner in the NFL. The space he occupies on the field was/is called "Revis Island" Randle Island. #RandleIsland
  17. You must be stuck all by your lonesome away on #NoellerIsland
  18. So, let's say Bruce wins & gets $5 million in damages that's a hit of over half a mill per team. If it's upwards of $10 to $20 mill, you do the math. More? The floodgates will open. Keep laughin', guys. Who is laughing? I'd love to actually have a serious debate with you about this because it's a very interesting discussion, but I'm not even going to bother because I know the minute I disagree with you (which I do) you're going to take it personal. I stumbled across an old CFL forum the other day and I saw posts of yours from as far back as 2002. How have you managed to make it 12+ years online without being able to figure out that just because someone disagrees with you, it doesn't mean they're attacking you personally.
  19. Based on him actually filing this lawsuit, I'm pretty sure he does have some serious brain damage. I don't think it's the CFL's fault though.
  20. Excellent. Let's all thank MBRG for a wonderful suggestion!
  21. He's 10th in the league in receiving despite being 3rd on our team. I'd say he's doing just fine so far.
  22. Randle Island it is.
  23. $125,000. If that's what he is making ... worth it.
  24. Even though it has benefited us immensely so far, I honestly have to say this PI challenge stuff is ridiculous. Doug Brown is right, you can find what you're looking for on every single throw if you really want to.
  25. He'll be on the 2 man inactive roster. Cap savings that way.
