The Brohm and Portis deals are both conditional picks.

And just for the record this is a top 10 not top 15 Touche. Used to the list being top 15. lol

Just for the record, these aren't the top 15 prospects in the CIS. These are the top 15 prospects to watch, which is a bit different. Either way, the Canadian Scouting Bureau list comes out today and I'm pretty curious about it. I'm expecting there to be a bunch of NCAA guys on there. Really REALLY deep draft class until the NFL starts sifting through it.

Not worried about the end spot but the interior is troubling. Surprised we don't have a single DT on the PR.

What big names is everyone talking about? Guaranteed the fans have a way different perception of what consitutes a big name than GMs do. Outside of Alex Hall and Chris Matthews, who is there? Phillip Hunt? ACL surgery ... hasn't been here in four years. Nearly 29 years old. Not really a big name anymore. Garrett McIntyre is almost 30 and hasn't been here in four years. Good luck getting him here to be a rotational guy. More cost efficient to bring in a fresh name. Damaso Munoz ... linebacking talent in the CFL is at a recent high right now, I doubt there's much interest. Who else is there? Israel Idonije? I get far more excited by additions like Greg Childs to Toronto than I would with the retreads we love to toss around here.

Kromah forced both fumbles, I believe.

The "unwritten rule" really only pertains to rookie Canadians. As for the rest of the practice roster, you make it sound far more simple than it actually is. You can't simply pluck somebody off a practice roster as you see fit. You essentially have to sign them to a new contract, which means negotiating with them. If they don't want to leave their current situation (and a lot of players don't) then they don't have to. On top of that, it's not just Winnipeg that needs Canadians. Every team needs Canadians. If these guys are stuck on a practice roster and not worth playing in a game, why would anybody else want them? Most teams are in the same desperate state at this point.

Good thing BC has a piss poor offensive line. Booker might end up with 83 sacks anyways.

Let's say Durant makes 400k and Burris makes 450k base salary. Durant has game cheques of 22k/game and Burris would make 25k/game. 3k a game difference, multiplied by 7 remaining games. You don't think they could fit an extra 21k under the cap?

Max Power's HOT TAKE of the day: Welcome to Morning Big Green

Assholes like Migs could easily come here. Everyone should be lucky he hasn't because he is a hell of a lot worse than me or franc. And if Rider fans (or anyone for that matter) come here to do nothing but troll, they are easily banned. We've already banned a few. Fans who want to come here and have a football discussion are more then welcome. The problem with Migs though, is that he is very sneaky. When he first posts, you don't expect him to be a troll. He tries to lure people into thinking he's a good guy when he really isn't. He's alive and kicking at the official Bomber board, and no one has appeared to realize that he's a troll yet. Everyone at RF and MBB knows what's yet to come there though judged by his past. Didn't you have to ask who Migs was like a month ago? Now you're educating US?

Maybe O'Shea can protest the result. It's not because of that. I believe every equipment you wear in the game should be approved by the league. I remember there's a player fined for wearing pink gloves (I think) a year before they introduced the 'pink' week. Uniform, not equipment.

This is how you discuss football with Bomber fans over on your home forum. Don't act like this kind of treatment is exclusive to our site. Hey, if you're going to own it then own it. But don't say you own it and then whine when we do the same thing. Everything I say over there I say over here save for the colourful trash talk. That's cool for you to do that here so I should be afforded the same rights. At least I have the balls to use the same username. Are you implying I don't?

Of course they are... Why blame durant who continued the play as well... Nope, blame everyone else first and foremost.. What? Why would you EVER blame Durant? Simple really.. If your going to blame turner for continuing the play after the whistle... You have to blame durant for doing the same.. He could have pulled up, he could have ran backwards for all I care... If both players didn't hear the whistle then obviously both are free from blame but if either one heard it or felt the play was dead and continued on.... *shrug* just my opinion.. Kind of a really strange comparison to make, imo. Either way, hard for me to blame anyone.

Oh gee, don't be pulling that. At least own what you're doing here. You come here and play moderately nice, but more than a few of us have seen the way you speak about us on your home forum.

I like a lot of our Rider fan posters. They're not as bad as we make them out to be. Could be a lot worse.

Yeah I wouldn't say Durant is in a decline. Hard to be a successful passer when you don't have a legitimate #1 receiver and your OC just prefers to pound the rock.

The thing everyone is overlooking is that the whole dynamic of their offense changes. They are able to run so effectively because yes, they have a great OL and a three headed running attack. But the other factor is that Durant has earned the respect of opposing defenses. You can't just key in on stopping the run entirely because Durant is still back there with the ability to hurt you for six points through the air. Tino isn't going to get handed that respect. Especially when teams watch film and see his inconsistency with the intermediate game. He's going to have to prove he can burn you with his arm before the run game can keep on trucking. The offence changes a bit but Tino's been with the team for awhile. Cortez will reconfigure the game plan. The Riders may stumble a bit with Sunseri but it is a great opportunity to get him some reps. I honestly think Tino will be a solid CFL qb. I'm not talking about what the Riders do. I'm talking about what other teams do against them. And that changes. A lot. I assume you believe other teams will stack the box and dare the Riders to pass? I'm sure Cortez will be anticipating that and prepare Tino accordingly. And then what happens if he can't? And I'm not talking about once, so don't bring up some obscure single throw like last time. I'm talking about consistently. And while we're at it ... let's raise some other concerns. Tino is *the* guy now. Wasn't the big knock on him in college that he absolutely SUCKED at being *the* guy?
-
Welcome to fan bias. It's the same type of crazy behavior that makes someone suggest Tino Sunseri is equal to Drew Willy.

Durant is totally important. He is a warrior and one of the top two or three qbs in the CFL and there is nobody I would rather have leading the Riders into the playoffs. Why does that mean that Sunseri sucks? Nobody is saying Sunseri sucks. You should learn to identify a middle ground.
-
You me like the first pass he threw coming into the BC game that was dropped? Tino is no Darian but he'll do fine with the proper reps. FTR it was a coin toss as to who was better last season between Willy or Sunseri. yeah, you're right. I mean like one pass. If you're going to go into defensive mode and try to spin everything, don't waste your time. We don't drink the Rider kool aid here and whether you want to acknowledge it or not, Sunseri and his handful of pro snaps are a major downgrade from Durant and when defenses are already keying in on your run game because it's your primary source of offense, it's certainly not going to help when the only true decoy you have to that goes down to an injury. Kool Aid? Riders have an impressive o-line, run game and defence? No? Or is that Kool Aid? Tino is a downgrade, obviously. He will have to manage the game and personally I think he is on par with Willy albeit without the snaps to have as much polish yet. If you think he is on par with Drew Willy, you've lost it. You realize you're comparing him to a QB who is on pace for nearly 5000 yards passing, right? A guy with 43 pro throws to his name. Hate to break it to you but Tino Sunseri is nowhere near on the same level as Drew Willy. May he be eventually? Sure. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not this year. Uhm, trying reading closer. I said he is on par with Willy "without the snaps." There is a reason why the Riders didn't even think about attempting to re-sign Willy and his name is Sunseri. There will be bumps, just like you guys are experiencing with Willy and his late game turnovers but I think Tino can play. Nice try. The reason they didn't even think about trying to re-sign Willy is because they knew Willy going to be a starter somewhere. And what does "on par without the snaps" even mean? You mean they are equals if you throw one of the most important factors (experience) out the window? Okay great. Just call me Adrian Peterson. Without the legs.
