Mike

I really have to say it's such a shame that Desjardins is such a putz because Ottawa's group of scouts keeps bringing in pretty legitimate prospects. I like Johnson as a CFL QB and Harper is just an overall interesting athlete. DE/TE in college. LB in NFL.

Guys I'd look out for at the regionals ... Edmonton - DB Apperley, LB Kankolongo, OL Picton, OL Lawlor, DB Janke Montreal - REC Davidson, DB Girard Toronto - RB Rea (really curious to see where they end up putting him), REC English, K Ferraro and I'm sure a couple of the other DB/REC types that test well will receive invites.

If we sign him. Which I hope we do.

Considering what the Pens just paid for Winnik I like this.

Good for Hopkins - one of my favorite players in the CFL

Technically Nixon didn't finish the year on the PR in Calgary, he was cut after the Winnipeg game. I'm curious though. I thought he was a good prospect when he signed with Toronto.

You and Aards are really carrying around a bad case of the jinx today. At BB.com, Aards told us we should watch out for Pall now that he has real coaching...CUT. Now you with Jackson. On behalf of all current Bombers under contract, I will please ask you not to mention any more names today, lol MAN WE SHOULD REALLY LOOK OUT FOR THAT EJ KUALE

So after I throw his name out there as a guy I thought was pretty good, the Bombers cut Jerrell Jackson. lol

Exactly. Walters offers $150k. Desjardins probably counters at $350k.Aside from reading Rider forum's why do people have this impression of Desjardins? The Bomber's won 5 free agent auctions, did they pay too much? After all they beat Ottawa all 5 times. Taman has the highest paid Canadian receiver by a mile, Popp has highest paid receiver and Wally is paying huge for a pair of LB's yet Desjardins is the only GM ruining the league with out of this world contracts? I don't get it. Can't say for sure as there's no evidence that Desjardins was after any of the players that the Bombers signed. Ottawa signed SirVincent Rogers before the Bombers signed Bryant so it looks like he was their priority for Import O-lineman. Some comments from Walters suggested that this was also the Bombers grading of the two. Anyone know what $$ Rogers signed for? Heard Rogers got $140k per season. Bryant got $160k. Rogers was seen as more attractive if the two because of perceived value. In my opinion Walters ended up getting amazing value from Bryant. I honestly wouldn't of complained if we paid 200K for Bryant. Yeah totally agreed.

If Darvin Adams was a recruit straight out of college, he'd be the best one we have on paper BY FAR. So I'm curious to see what he brings here.

I still like Clemons and Jackson best out of all the receivers we've brought in thus far. Even though Jackson was here last year for a cup of coffee.

See Ellingson, Greg. $165,000.

I'm still waiting for my free 4 pack of Red Bull from the class action against them because their drinks don't actually give you wings.

Equally impressive is Goard has shrunk 3 inches since his. lol

Neither is Feoli-Gudino and we don't have the depth to accommodate 3 Canadian starting receivers

All you gotta do is look at what he's doing now that he's outta football. Nothing that requires any serious effort or work ethic.

Bout time they announced these guys. I have kinda high hopes for Lamar, don't know much about Bass.

Heard he's in negotiations with New Orleans. Apparently that was misinformation.Very interesting. Seems lots of misinformation on the remaining free agent LBs. Do they both have the same agent? lol I read that Peters doesn't even have a CFL agent. Lol

I wonder if we put Owamagbe Odighizuwa on our negotiation list already.

I know this is a really REALLY good hire.

I'd have no qualms about them locking him down until 2018 today.

Someone is definitely being facetious about Curran. Could be negotiations playing out in the media. Could be the truth. Probably somewhere in between.

Rennie Curran has signed with the Birmingham Barracudas.

Well... obviously nothing applies in all cases. You can buy a cat and train it for 10 years but it will never fly like a bird. Have you tried sewing wings on?
