Really frustrated that they cut Liggins.

The big thing I really noticed was the amount of space on the concourse. Huge difference.

Look at the still image capture. Jake is literally 4 yards upfield on rollerskates when the back hits the hole. Look where he is in relation to the rest of the DL.

I agree that Thomas got held, although that's the type of hold you're always going to see guys get away with. I do not agree that Hurl got boxed out because of a slow reaction time though, I'd say he got boxed out because Thomas got destroyed by the guard so easily that he was washed into the second level almost immediately. Thomas is backed into Hurl before the back even hits the line of scrimmage. Hurl is on the wrong side of Thomas because he read the play correctly, but the back adjusted based on the huge hole his blocker created for him.

God, for as much as people want to hate on Hurl ... and point to that Perkins run TD as a reason why .. Just watched the highlights and that was entirely Jake Thomas' fault.

Just watched the Global highlights, very first play they show, he's in there pressuring Franklin. I did miss the first 8 minutes of the first quarter, but I swear I didn't see him on the field. Weird.

When on earth did he play? I literally did not see him go in once. I saw Butcher, Nevis, Scott and Thomas all over the place getting playing time, but I didn't see big 93 go in and I was specifically looking for him. I didn't even see him on the bench when I looked, to be honest.

This I agree with. Not sure why they didn't give him an opportunity to show value in other spots, like on returns. He's WAY more important than a guy like Lankford to our success on offense. That run he had in the third (I think?) was incredible.

Way too many Americans on that active roster. Something seems way off about it, there's like 8 American defensive backs and a bunch of linebackers and receivers. But only 46 guys? Anyways ... I think Jeffcoat made the active roster with his play. He'll be a DI in my opinion. Brian Walker did enough to get a practice roster spot, as did Santos-Knox. Not sure where Liggins and Williams end up as receivers, but I hope they stick around. It's so tough to say though, our roster management was very poor yesterday in my opinion on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, they were rotating guys all over the place ... Scott, Butcher, Temple, Alexander, Walker ... a whole bunch of guys got time with the ones. Offensively, we trotted out the same alignments every time minus the blocking fullback that kept rotating. The only time guys like Liggins and Williams got to show their stuff was in the fourth quarter and even then, it was the Ryan Lankford show. Not sure why Lankford was the only guy who fielded any punts either. Let these guys show their stuff.

I didn't notice this at all. First game, so I don't care (yet ) but it was rearranged and just as bad as it always has been.

Not sure why people are worried about our defense considering they didn't do anything on the DL other than bullrush. It was as vanilla as it gets, and I noticed a lot of the breakdowns were when Butcher and/or Scott were in.

Lankford does not impress me

Not even gonna care about the score in this one. The Rifles safety got torched at the end. Big deal. O looks good. Frustrated with how they handled the substitutions. But whatever.

I don't see the purpose in keeping Sheppard, personally.

As much as maybe you don't need to see guys like Dressler, you need to give Nichols time with them.

Except in the sport of fight, McGregor CAN beat Mayweather. The odds of him doing so are very low, but all it takes is one shot. And as mentioned ... he's a world-class striker.
