  1. I'm bringing one to Mosaic for the opener. If we win, I'll leave it on Paul McCallum's lawn.
  2. It's either McGregor with a lucky knockout in the first 4 rounds or Mayweather by decision. No chance Mayweather is going to knock him out, he's shaking off two years outside the ring, they're fighting at a weight Mayweather has knocked one guy out at ever and McGregor has a rock solid chin. McGregor needs to find the balance between coming in guns blazing looking for the home run shot and making sure he doesn't gas in case he blows it. The reach for McGregor plus the fight weight tilt it in his favor but there's still the fact that he's not a boxer and Mayweather is the best boxer ever.
  3. Poop and Hurl up the gut. ... nice
  4. I remember that game. Never have I felt so disgusted by a Bomber coach and team in my entire life. I worked harder getting myself up out of bed at 6 AM on the Saturday to drive out to watch them than they did over that entire 60 minutes of football. The worst part about that game is it wasn't even like we were making mistakes left, right and center. We just didn't care. I think we had two turnovers all game and we got smoked 52-0.
  5. The main thing that I disliked about Tim Burke was his expressions on the sideline. Blame Mike Kelly for being an arrogant, loudmouth windbag all you want, at least it came from him caring deeply about wanting to win. Burke constantly had an infuriating, blank look on his face that said "oh well, who cares" and it infected the whole team.
  6. Good question.
  7. Had he not had a coach who threw him under the bus, that might have helped also. For all the talk of Mike Kelly and Joe Mack, etc, etc ... I think it is quite honestly Tim Burke who set this franchise back the most in his time here. He was an absolute disaster.
  8. I don't know what to make of that depth chart. I get everyone is going to get reps and there's no ratio, but I'm curious about the defensive ratio. I'm also curious as to why Kyle Knox is still around, I think. He just seems to be *there*, never seems to make any strides in improving.
  9. Pascal Lochard sportin' the old Jonny Oosterhuis.
  10. Something we agree on.
  11. I mean, we got Faith Ekakitie because of good QB recruiting too.
  12. To be fair we haven't found a QB since Danny Mac.
  13. I do wonder if they're going to install any packages for The Fever to run. I don't necessarily know that I want him taking any snaps that are going to result in many throws, but I'd like to see some gadget stuff. He's athletic enough to work it. Maybe do the old Double QBerooski with The Fever behind center and Dom Davis at wideout.
  14. I'm shocked nobody has scooped up Jim Barker yet. The guy can flat out find quarterbacks.
  15. Almost 30? Davis is 27 years old.
  16. I agree entirely. I don't really consider him an option to make the team at all. Sadly, I don't think the coaches agree.
  17. But I already cut him
  18. I think Thorpe getting on the main roster as a starter over Stafford is how we solve our return issues.
  19. Ah, yeah. Knew I missed a guy on there somewhere. ... Spooner to the reserve, Temple to PR.
  20. I felt like trying to predict the roster. QB - Nichols, Davis, Lefevour RB - Harris, Normand FB - Miller, Rush REC - Adams, Dressler, Denmark, Thorpe, Feoli-Gudino, Coates, Yachison OL - Bryant, Bond, Goossen, Chungh, Hardrick, Couture DL - Westerman, Nevis, Johnson, Okpalaugo, Jeffcoat, Corney, Thomas, Ekakitie LB - Wild, Hurl, Leggett, Miles, Briggs, Gauthier, Carmichael DB - Randle, Alexander, Johnson, Heath, Fogg S - Loffler, Jones K - Medlock LS - Rempel Two Man Reserve: Flanders, Temple Practice Roster: Santos-Knox, Williams, Liggins, Foketi, Intzandt, Smalley Injured: Conteh, Knox, Walker Jr, Sheppard Cut: Stafford, Lankford, Neufeld, Knox, others who aren't as notable
  21. Yeah, not going to lie ... I'm a bit nervous that it could get out of control. Normally everyone in Regina is super friendly when we go but ... standing room only leads to a lot more invasion of personal space which leads to the potential for a donnybrook.
  22. This is where we got our seats for Labour Day - 50 of them. Sounds interesting, actually but we were told it's rush seating? Our rep said they planned to undersell capacity though.
