I remember Walters on the radio gushing about Duncan in the offseason. They cannot find receivers. Also, we added DB Matt Smalley. He's 5'9" ... maybe a little smalley for my liking.

All the proven guys get time off during camp.

Your dad sounds like the guy beside me. It's unbearable. I switched seats this year to a different section entirely because of him.

I'm a big believer in getting the under the radar guys. I have an Adam Lowry jersey. Maybe just because I'm so cursed that whenever I get a jersey, something bad happens. Got an Armstrong jersey right before he decided he didn't want to play anymore. Then I got a Shabazz jersey and he got released. Followed that up with a TJ Harris jersey after he had "the best training camp ever" and he made it a handful of games. Cory Watson jersey that I got from Bluto lasted a few weeks until Dan West decided to murder him on the sidelines in practice. I held off for a while until I went to the Bomber Store right before kickoff a couple years ago to order a Drew Willy jersey and they hadn't even delivered it to my seat by the time he got carted off - seriously. On the NHL side, I have an Evander Kane and three weeks after I bought my Adam Lowry jersey, he got sent down to the A. I *may* have broken the curse though. I've been rolling with a Westerman and an Ehlers for a year+ now and we're doing well so far. Back to your question ... because I like under the radar guys and I think it's cool to support the hometown whenever possible ... I would recommend a THOMAS MILES.

I don't really see the big deal. What he said doesn't seem to be untrue. If we sold him on the role he claims we did (which would make sense, since that's what he excels at) then we certainly didn't follow through on our end. -
That's how it works, right? If you sign a guy and he underperforms, the next guy you sign for the same amount of money is also going to underperform. It's apples to apples, really. Science. Prove me wrong.

I like Kevin Glenn but he's not going to give the Riders more than 7 wins. -

LOL after all that talk at RF about how we overpaid Ekakitie, they gave Judge $1500 less in guaranteed money this season. -
Nevis is going to be a game changer for us. He's a monster.

Is this joint CFL/TSN venture replacing the TSN Fantasy Football they've run for a few years? Because if so ... that's awful. I hate the increase cap based on referrals idea.
-
I just can't see us bringing SO many MLB guys in if they're planning to start a guy they didn't even resign early in FA.

Last time I went to Minneapolis, along the way I hit up ... Junkyard, Disgruntled, Modist, Fulton, Dangerous Man, Indeed, Fair State, Sisyphus, Wild Mind, Surly, Dayblock and Town Hall ... all in a three day weekend. I love Uber.

I mean, I thought it was just a limp before and now it sounds like he's basically dead.
-
I thought he was on first?
-
If you somehow find yourself with an extra six hours, head down to Junkyard in Fargo. The coolest taproom ever. (oh and the beer is incredible)

I mean ... I wanted to give the kid a chance since it sounded not too bad but really, if he's out long-term, stick a fork in him.

Wait until you see their couch at Torque. I won't ruin the surprise. I won't change my mind on Barn Hammer. I want to like them so bad. Their space is amazing, their branding is awesome ... their beer just sucks to me. It's like the one place my beer friends and I will just not go anymore. PS - they changed the name, it's only Grandpa's Sweater now. See? They ruin everything!
-
I see him burning BC's Loucheiz Purifoy in coverage about 90 seconds in.
-
Some of them are very much not beery enough for me, but I've had some awesome ones. Both simple and not so simple. I've also had some that are just an absolute mess. Brought back a couple from Minneapolis when I was there over the new year and man, one was just an absolute disaster. I want to say it was like a cucumber lemon sea salt gose? Come on.
-
Because he's got a slight limp? I mean ... that seems a bit hasty.
-
Lots of injuries.

Farmery doesn't even register as craft beer to me, to be honest. It's cool that you were impressed with Barn Hammer. My friends and I do not like them whatsoever. It's a shame, because they have an AWESOME space, but their beers are just so mediocre in my opinion. They don't really seem to have a whole lot of quality control, they did a few test batches and yeah, I get it ... it's a test batch. But maybe if your test batch doesn't even come close to what you're aspiring for, don't pass it off as "your take on a particular style" PEG Beer on the other hand ... man, if they could actually just get their business straightened out, they'd be KILLING it. Their beer is incredible. But for whatever reason, the ownership seems so focused on the restaurant side of things that they constantly run out of beer and have delays in getting it up because they literally have no funds for ingredients. They'll have 38 different flatbreads a week with all kinds of fresh ingredients and then two or three beers on tap. But man ... when they do have beer, it's awesome. It's just down the road from where Ray and I play hockey on weekends and we always hit up their taproom before, after or ... during () games. They had a sour black cherry stout a month ago and it was up there for one of the tastiest beers I've ever had.

Interesting. Hope we don't see any of these.
