Why do you say that? Doege's been there all year. Look at Toronto last year as an example. Collaros leap frogged the second string Harris despite having less time with the offence. If Tino looks as bad as he did against the TiCats why wouldn't they throw Doege in there? They've both been taking first team snaps. It's a confidence thing. You can't yank guys at the first sign of trouble (doubt and second guessing starts to creep in) .. beyond that, players need to learn to play through adversity .. learn to win .. learn how to rally .. that only comes when you are forced to deal with those things.

B It takes time to build up a scouting department. Walters seemed to do okay in the draft as well. But I think the fair question is, how much depth do you expect to build in one offseason? Realisticaly, every GM is going to go through bodies until they get the right guys .. if you look across the league, the teams that are successful have established rosters. We are middle of year one of a massive roster overhaul. We aren't going to have great depth overnight. It's going to take time to build a solid base .. then after that .. begin upgrading talent at the back end of the roster. Again, anyone who thinks this is going to happen in one or two seasons is sorely deluding themselves .. and when you factor in the sheer number of injuries we've had this season, I think it's reasonable to say we are getting a LOT out of the bodies we have in camp right now.

Pall on the lineup, doesnt means the Bombers like it. No other option but to put him there because of recent injuries. Not suggesting anyone likes it .. and I know it's out of necessity .. but the fact we're at that point gives me reason for concern.

But it gives BC more of a chance than what I'm really comfortable with .. I think they are a team that could give us trouble .. we don't play BC well in BC .. and I thnk Glenn and his quick release might put us in a spot. Maybe that's me tempering my expectations but I don't feel good about this week .. not with the state of our defence.

He was a good passer in the NCAA. Tino is no Darian but he'll do fine with the proper reps. FTR it was a coin toss as to who was better last season between Willy or Sunseri. There have been a multitude of quarterbacks that have come through this league with sparkling NCAA credentials who have failed to amount to much of anything .. I think the point remains .. until Sunseri proves he can beat teams with his arm .. nobody is going to respect it (nor should they) or the Riders passing game.

Haven't looked at the numbers, but is he far enough ahead that the extra game he's played since the Bombers haven't had a buy affecting that? Through nine weeks he trailed Harris by 28 yards from scrimmage (781 to 809) but has two more TDs (7 to 5). This would be an equal number of games by both players.

And when you couple it with the fact there are now 28 different TSN feeds (little sarcasm), there's really no need to interrupt the CFL broadcast for a prolonged period for baseball highlights. Just speaks to how scripted the panel really is and how underprepared they are if they can't carry the show for anything more than what's been planned.

Yeah .. Little surprised that Leggett hasn't gotten more love .. He's been great at safety this season ..

Without a doubt this is a bit of a shock .. addiction is a terrible thing to try and overcome .. hopefully he gets the help he needs.

@PentonKirk 10m Jason Vega will be a healthy scratch this week, as Kashawn Fraser played well enough to stay in the lineup. #Bombers Not exactly a huge fan of Fraser myself and Vega is a pretty solid, multifaceted lineman .. a guy you can plug in any spot on the front 4 .. not sure how I feel about this one.
