  1. Was the Ops cap introduced during Ambroise's reign? While the sentiment behind it is a good one I think, the execution is extremely lacking and detriment to the overall goal, a scenario that seems hallmark of Randy's time at the helm.
  2. Did it also lead to his new career as a tax swindling politician and disreputable business owner?
  3. I adore all these ideas! Beautifully expressed, my friend. However, Toronto no longer has an indoor football stadium. The SkyDome renovations turned it into a baseball only venue I'm afraid. Please teach me the formatting you use for your posts. I absolutely LOVE it!
  4. These points don't invalidate the information asymmetry that I was highlighting. It's foolish to assume that we possess any valuable insights into player personnel decisions that may not make sense at face value. Such thinking constitutes an logical fallacy.
  5. The coaches devote 60+ hours a week to working closely with the players and reviewing game and practice film. Our exposure to the players is limited to brief media clips and a 3-hour game each week. It would be asinine to presume that we possess even a fraction of the insight into player personnel decisions that the coaching staff has.
  6. It comes as no great surprise to me that Shawn Lemon chose the team likely offering him the most substantial paycheck and the best opportunity to be the #1 guy. He seems to prioritize his own interests over his team's, but that's not necessarily a negative trait in this league. I suppose you could say my opinion of Lemon is rather sour...
  7. Demski, without a doubt, took a step back toward the line of scrimmage before getting tackled. The spot might not have been favorable, but he sacrificed his forward progress in an attempt to outmaneuver the defender.
  8. Depending on Haba's Hammy and the results of today's Thursday Thriller we might need him more. How about we organize a Lemon Party to entice Shawn to our wonderful city?
  9. I share the same sentiment. It's always heartwarming to cheer for a fellow Winnipeg boy. I met Geoff a few times back when he was at the UofM, what the specific events were escape my memory, but it's hard to forget chatting to someone with his impressive stature. He struck me as very well spoken and intellectually gifted. I hope he remains with the Bombers for a long time, but I am confident that wherever his career takes him next, he will achieve great success. I believe that he is a PhD or Masters candidate in mechanical engineering, which speaks volumes about his dedication and intelligence.
  10. He possesses a natural talent as an offensive tackle, with a lanky build that's remarkably athletic. I hope he's being considered for the succession plan of Stanley and Jermarcus.
  11. I imagine that's due to their run block assignment
  12. Both outside linebackers are essentially additional DBs who can tackle downhill this day and age in the CFL
  13. The initial domino has been set in motion. Excellent.
  14. Should we suffer a heartbreaking loss to the Elks in this game, and subsequently decide to sign Shawn Lemon, I will eat an entire lemon, including the peel and pith, and share the video right here as proof. Mark my words.
  15. Lemon's last season was a statistical anomaly, and it's likely that teams are hesitant to bring him in this year after reviewing his tape and when considering his age and his price. It's unlikely he'll replicate last year's performance in a different situation, he benefited from moments of opportunity.
  16. I love a Blue Bomber gameday more than anything in the world. It's a burst of excitement that fills me up with delight, a thrilling Red River Ex carnival ride that rarely disappoints and keeps you on your toes, and a community celebration that brings friends and family together. Gameday is my vice, my fix, my favorite day of the week. I can't wait until kick off this evening. Go Blue!
  17. Is the White out a thing we've been doing in previous years? Or are we just trying to trick the Elks into thinking this is another home game for them to lose.
  18. Is he planning on pivoting from pickle ball to tennis?
  19. Some people are fans of the Bombers without being fans of the sport or League. I don't get it myself. Bob's victory celebration made me smile as a fan of the sport and league
  20. Did Haba leave the game with a hamstring injury? Those are rough and linger. I pulled my hamstring last month and it still feels like it could go on me again at any step. Note to my fellow 55+people , pickle balls skills don't translate to tennis! Ouch
  21. Do you ever engage in meaningful discussions about football or do you solely resort to condescending remarks towards newer forum members you consider unworthy?
  22. Insightful, I thank you. I suppose the loss of stove and Sayles hurt more than Wilson it seems. With the resurgence of the DT positional importance down south (Jones, Donald, etc), i would hope we'd continue to audition new American DTs in season and put pressure on Walker to become our dominant Nose tackle, he hasn't impressed. Aside from the yard of the ball, what other challenges do American defensive tackles have adapting to the Canadian Hand
  23. Not one to defend PFF and their mysterious performance criteria, but Mr. Fajardo has the quick release of a stoned Galapagos tortoise and has exhibits a tendency to hold the onto ball longer than her Majesty The Queen clinged to the British Throne. He will always make his Oline look worse than they are. He'd get sacked behind a brick wall covered in razor wire before he there the ball.
  24. I question what you're inhaling. You're stumbling into countless logical fallacies, lol.
  25. Alas, Kyrie Wilson is not Larry Dean, and it would be illogical to draw major conclusions from Dean's recovery from an Achilles injury. Banking on Wilson's impactful return in the immediate future would be an unwise decision. While I do wish for Wilson to have a seamless recovery and be prepared to perform exceptionally well, I am not putting all my eggs in that basket. We need a plan B for shoring up our run stop
