  1. Jevon Cottoy's performance in this game has been massive, solidifying his status as a standout player.
  2. That drive exuded sheer sex appeal as they expertly ran down the clock and delivered a devastating dagger strike to Wolitarsky!
  3. IMO the quality of the crust ultimately determines the ceiling of the pie's overall excellence.
  4. Pre-2015 or so, it was great and award winning, but rumors of a tabloid-worthy divorce between Diana and her husband led to its demise. They eventually sold out I believe, turning it into the trash heap (or should I say city of Regina ) that it is today. Diana and co are also rabid anti vaxxers, I regret bringing them up. Commendable pizza at one time though.
  5. I've had the grand misfortune of visiting The Queen City many times. But I'll elect for a Gondola, Santa Lucia, or (pre divorce drama) Diana's pizza over Houston pizza any day of the week.
  6. I hadn't anticipated that expressing my fondness for Regina's meaty and cheesy pizza creation would stir up such a commotion. After moving to BC to be closer to my grandkids, I was disappointed that the pizza scene here predominantly consists of hipster inspired creations and Neapolitan style pies, which certainly gives me a greater appreciation of the delightfully greasy prairie pizza back home.
  7. Deep dish pizza is just a pizza-flavored casserole.
  8. It's quite puzzling that you people take a stance against Regina pizza; I suppose you prefer a Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready instead. Regina is a truly terrible place but damned if they don't know how to satisfy a rotund football fan's appetite.
  9. Regina may not be great at almost anything, but when it comes to pizza, it truly shines, Regina style pizza is a delightfully indulgent combination of meat and cheese that nobody can resist. Low blow, I take more chagrin with their lack of strip bars.
  10. My favorite magician is undoubtedly future CFL all-star Evan "The Ivory Interceptor" Holm, whose mesmerizing skills on the practice field leave Richie Hall spellbound.
  11. In a similar vein to our politicians, old man Ambroise and the CFL leadership showcase a limited grasp of technology, evident in their disregard for the potential of digital platforms. Their indifference towards the significance of a well-maintained website reflects a failure to recognize the value of online engagement and the accessibility it offers to fans. Stats are in the newspaper the day after the game and that's good enough for them apparently.
  12. Randy Ambroise's obsession with establishing a CFL team in Atlantic Canada is detrimental to the league's day-to-day operations, as he prioritizes his personal legacy over the immediate needs and challenges facing the CFL. His single-minded focus on expansion neglects crucial aspects such as improving broadcast quality, increasing viewership, and addressing pressing issues like the nationalized American rule, ultimately putting the stability and success of the league at risk.
  13. Trevor Harris is the antithesis of a clutch quarterback, always faltering in high-pressure situations. When it comes to the red zone, his performance is reminiscent of a dead zone, consistently failing to deliver crucial touchdowns.
  14. If Evan Holm fails to secure defensive player of the week against the riders , I shall be compelled to limit my linguistic repertoire to monosyllabic vocabulary. Consider this fair warning.
  15. Rest assured, my tongue and cheek have formed a close and familiar relationship over the years.
  16. I just had to share my excitement about Evan Holm. He's the perfect successor to Juran Bolden. Get ready for greatness from the Ivory Interceptor! Evan Holm, the rising star, A talent that'll take us far!
  17. Failing to optimize the competitive advantage of the new roster rules demonstrates questionable coaching decisions on O'Shea's part. Without his recent (epic) success with the team it would really raise questions about his competitive drive and commitment to success. Just as a skilled craftsman utilizes every tool at their disposal to create a masterpiece, a true football manager should harness the full potential of the leagues rules to construct a winning team, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of success.
  18. Absolutely! Look no further than Marc Legghio in last year's Grey Cup. (Damn!)
  19. While O'Shea's stubbornness might cost us a game or two a year, the strong team culture he fosters leads to winning four or five others. I'll take that deal.
  20. Does anyone else find that the Stampeders jersey makes them oddly hungry for fried chicken?
  21. Seems like this forum is a tougher crowd than brunch with my kids! I make no apologies.
  22. A toast for game-day: Here's to beer and nachos, Game-day's perfect pair. Sip, crunch, and cheer, As victory fills the air. Cheers!
