  1. Yes. It seems that, once again, my latest tongue-in-cheek remark has led to a misunderstanding of my trademark clever humor and cunning wit.
  2. I apologize; it seems you might be new here and didn't catch the joke. I'll make sure to avoid "inside humour" in the future.
  3. Have you ever been to the IKEA food court? It's food fit for a Swedish King, although some assembly is required! The negative personal attack I responded to seemed rather unwarranted, and that's what I was trying to highlight. There's already plenty of negativity and bad vibes in the world, and comments like the one I addressed only add to it. However, the world can be a wonderful place if you embrace the magic of positivity and good thoughts my friends. Peace and love.
  4. I often ponder this question about TBURGESS, but do you ever grow tired of being yourself?
  5. Haha, I was actually referring to the forum reaction emojis like 👍. I thought that was a more clever choice than using "points," as in the movie quote!
  6. I award you no reaction, and may God have mercy on your soul.
  7. What is the meaning behind this madness? Who are you?
  8. I'd appreciate it if they focused more on discussing football strategies, as the current panel overly emphasizes personalities and superficial content instead of genuine sports analysis. It was surprising to watch NFL broadcasts this weekend with retired players offering valuable insights, and I particularly enjoy the Manning Cast.
  9. Take a look at you senior citizens, getting all worked up over the radio, hahaha!
  10. Winnipeg is in a prime position to win this football game, and with a bit of luck on our side, I predict they'll triumph with a high score that will undoubtedly thrill the roaring home crowd. Winnipeg 42, Opponent 8
  11. You've shifted from a playful tease to an impolite remark with this comment. Let's aim for a higher standard of communication.
  12. One might ponder whether some of the roster decisions we're attributing to O'Shea are, in fact, salary cap choices for which Walters should be held accountable.
  13. Of course, here's the rewritten version without quotation marks: Please take a moment to revisit my previous statement. I explicitly mentioned that obtaining 5% of a large number holds significantly more value than gaining 100% of a small number. This concept mirrors the expected return formula, akin to deciding between a 2-point conversion or going for it on 3rd and short in football. It's a fundamental principle that should be clear to all of us here. In retrospect, I should have refrained from introducing mathematical concepts into this discussion! 😄 Silly me.
  14. Well, it's a rather elementary economic equation, isn't it? The financial reward of Ford's entry-level deal up north pales in comparison to the immense opportunities the NFL season offers today and into the future. When you consider the mere 5% chance of $A against the undeniable 100% chance of $b, one can't help but wonder why anyone would even entertain the latter. And let's not forget the natural twin rivalry with his brother Tre, which adds an extra layer of motivation to succeed in the NFL. One should also factor in the element of luck, a wildcard that can significantly influence a superstitious athletes decisions and, of course, the outcome.
  15. I'm somewhat let down that the O-line didn't lay down the law on Robertson after that despicable move. On the plus side, we avoided an offsetting penalty and managed to punch it in for a touchdown instead of settling for a field goal. However, it feels like we're lacking that gritty, never-back-down attitude that's been a signature of our top-tier offensive line in recent seasons. I'm starting to think the hogs are showing signs of aging.
  16. However, giving up so much just to receive a mere one-third of a rookie Canadian player's salary doesn't seem wise. If he waits until the next offseason, he'll be a year older, starting from scratch in terms of building rapport with NFL coaches, and competing against a fresh crop of NFL draftees. His optimal moment to seize this opportunity is now, and I don't believe $20,000 Canadian is worth sacrificing it. Per the CBA he's required to return on his previous contract, not sure the Bombers can offer him additional new incentives to return beyond the gamble of playoff money.
  17. Ice cold take, completely disconnected from reality of the situation. Going back to the CFL would squander a valuable career opportunity, possibly permanently. He narrowly missed making the final roster, and he's currently on the practice squad's fringe. Returning to the CFL means he'd start anew next offseason, a year older. If you calculate it, the chances of making an NFL roster or PR this season multiplied by potential NFL earnings, far surpass what the CFL can provide. Committing to the CFL for the season would be unwise. Without family depending on him, the cost of sitting out isn't significant when considering the bigger picture.
  18. I doubt Ford will make a return this year; there's little incentive. He's on a low-cost rookie Canadian deal, offering no financial motivation. It's wiser for his career to consider another NFL signing, with more potential earnings and a better chance of sticking around. As Juran mentioned, the NFL sees hundreds of injury replacement signings each week.
  19. Jake will have a tough time getting his passes past Willie, who stands at an impressive 6'7"!
  20. I'm unsure about the thought process in your comments, but you do bring up some valid points. In essence, it's a case of entering Randy Ambroise's CFL – take a seat and shut up.
  21. Thanks. Like I mentioned, CFL.ca isn't the most reliable source for CFL information, disturbingly.
  22. That contradicts the content of the link I shared from CFL.ca.
