no, I said that there isn't a team that wouldn't sign them... meaning that if given the chance every team would be standing in line to get them...

look no further than the Calgary stable of receivers in regards to drops... they dropped so many balls in the last 2 games that we played them and I would bet cash money there isn't a team in the league that wouldn't sign the lot of them tomorrow if given the chance... we tend to remember the bad more so than the good at times... Darvin has dropped too many balls I will admit, some were hard catches, some not so hard... but, he seems to come through when needed, and that's worth something...

What I mean is that for any QB that likes to throw the ball and take some risks Lapo is the wrong guy to be playing for. Nichols fit in with Lapo because Nichols is very risk averse. Collaros is a seasoned, mature QB who, like Nichols, takes some risks but you could see in the Sask game that Lapo was already dialing Collaros back and that lame, sputtering offensive scheme started rearing it's ugly head, even though Collaros had hooked up with Adams and Demski deep a few times in the first half. I'm sure Lapo will eventually neuter Collaros as he did Nichols. When Lapo starts doing it to Masoli it will be painful.
I'm arrogant enough to think I'm right and humble enough to know I'm often wrong. We all have varying degrees of both but for the most part I enjoy hearing what everyone has to say. 

ACL tears are not the crippler that they were in years past... it's not uncommon at all to have that injury and come back unaffected, performance wise... I'm much more concerned with head injuries and shoulder issues...

I'm not sure that 'thin ice' was the right term but you have to believe that there was at least conversation about moving forward from the front office... after 6 years and limited success to the ultimate goal had to be talked about as a head coach's performance will ultimately reflect upon those that hired him and retain him...
with that being said, MOS took care of business, regardless of the outcome this weekend, and he'll be in Winnipeg if he wants as long as the dollars make sense to both parties...

Well let's put it this way, I don't trust Lapo to use him effectively so don't even give Lapo the option of playing silly buggers. 

Lucky would also help us in the return game.

And with Nichols in the line-up, we played Lucky.
But after a bunch of ineffective weeks with Strev, he was benched.
The poster was asking, now that we have a QB who is throwing deep, do we re-insert Lucky into the line-up.
No mention or shot against Matty.

Finishing 3rd had the Bombers facing the daunting task of winning in Calgary and Sask.  Team has rose to the occasion.   Need to level up, just one more time.

Just throwing this out there, but now that the bombers have a QB that can throw a deep ball should they put Lucky back into the line up?

To be perfectly honest, every day that goes by I care less and less about it because MBB is fulfilling my needs. I didn't bother with MBB previously because I spent all my "forum time" on TEP and didn't have time for another, especially when the conversation seemed like the same except considerably less active. Now with this forum, we have many of the same members plus the MBB stalwarts all in one place and it seems far more active. Obviously the software is world's better.
I will go back to TEP if it comes back but I like it here and will probably end up making this my primary spot. As others have said, as long as there is good people here, including some old e-friends, that's all that matters to me.

You forget that Bowman was well known for dropping a couple of easy passes almost every game and yet it didn't phase Reilly, he just kept throwing to  him.   Darvin may occasionally drop balls but they would  usually be considered more difficult receptions.  In Darvin's voice "You think this job is easy....fat man?".

What's Matty at ..one playoff win in six years ? Zak has two in a month.......  Matty should be gone.  He just doesn't have what it takes to lead a team all the way.  

Exactly. I would re load with Masoli. With the talent on this roster we would easily be the team to beat with a quarterback like Masoli. 

Masoli would be a nice addition, if they decided to go another way. Masoli would be deadly in this offense.

When it comes to supporting this football team......no such thing as interlopers, period.

Been here for years and TEP since the beginning. MBB is an excellent forum and has been since the beginning. It is nice to see all my TEP friends here since the site went down. A lot of opinions I really respect on both sites, would have hated to lose any of them during this outstanding playoff run.

I tried Reddit as well... wasn't my cup of tea as... I was actually surprised as to the limited activity in the CFL sub... mostly it was just posting of links to articles...

I just wanted to take a moment to say 'thank you' to Rich and all of the members of MBB for allowing us interlopers a place to come and talk about our Bombers since TEP being down.  For us avid Bomber fans, the TEP couldn't have went down at a worse time, during playoffs...  it was/is nice to have a place to come to and share our thoughts and participate in the conversation without being made to feel un-welcomed or reminded that we are merely quests at someone else's house..
Hopefully we've reciprocated the hospitality by adding to the conversation and  provided additional insight to the going on's within the game and the Bombers in general... hopefully we will continue to do so once the TEP is back up, if it's back up...
So again, thanks you to MBB, Rich, and the MBB members for accepting us and allowing us to continue to be part of the conversation, much appreciated!
