But why make a public announcement? That would be protocol anyway. They know he's leaving. My point is, if you do it for one player then you have to do it for everyone. Even the backup long snapper who left in free agency. That's a heckuva lot of announcements league wide per team. I've no issue with it. Just that it was never done before.

It was a strange announcement. Nobody has ever done that before. Are they going to do that with every free agent they lose? What about the Argos & Ti Cats & the players they lost? That would be a lot of announcements per team. Our team last year? Some new CFL media protocol? It was just weird.

WTF is Hervey doing??? No one seems to know the motivation for this announcement other than Hervey really wanted Ceresna gone & is holding the door open as he leaves.

Liam Dobson played Center for the Ti Cats in the playoffs. I'd say he's pencilled in as a starter at Center. Kolo may be lucky just to make the team. I sure as hell don't want him back here if he gets cut.

Why not? We're moving away from one or two Americans on the OL, thankfully. If coaches can make the ratio work there's no need to stack the OL like teams used to. Canadian skills are improving. More & more Canadians are capable of playing skill positions now like linebacker, corner or running back. Which means we can use three American offensive linemen.

I just have a bad feeling this mission or the next could set back space travel for 30 years.

To me, Chuck Negron was the best of the 3 singers in Three Dog Night. Negron had the band's most powerful voice, also the best range able to hit the high & low notes easily. Some Three Dog Night fans think this was his best work as a vocalist on The Show Must Go On. The drummer for Three Dog Night was Floyd Sneed born in Calgary in 1942. He moved to Los Angeles in 1966 wanting a career as a professional musician. He met the three vocalists Danny Hutton, Corey Wells & Chuck Negron in 1968 when they were forming Three Dog Night & became the band's drummer. Sneed left the band in 1977.

Then he was taken out rather than allowed to find his footing as a running back. Injuries are times when young players can gain valuable experience & he was just pulled.

i just don't have a lot of confidence this is going to bring the astronauts back safely. Sixty years ago computers were huge & engineers used a slide rule to figure out trouble/problems. See Apollo 13. Today, engineers have their calculators & desk/laptop computers to figure things out. I still think gene Kranz & his crew were superior. Hope I'm wrong.

Only one lead singer left... Just Danny Hutton... he's in his 80's & I have no idea if he still tours. Negron lived the life of a famous rock singer with all of its excesses. The money, the women, the booze & the drugs. . He became a drug addict & the other band members kicked him out. He never reconciled even though the obit says he met with Hutton in the last year. However, I read a story once where Negron despised Hutton so much blaming him for being the band member who convinced the others to kick him out. One time, he chased Hutton down the street in LA wanting to beat him up when he happened to see Hutton one day out & about. It's a wonder Negron lived as long as he did.

No, trying to give a Grey Cup winning coach the props he deserves. If Osh retires at some point, we'd be lucky to have Mace as a Head Coach. He's another Ryan Dinwiddie. When hired, like Dinwiddie Mace was underrated. The question for both was, "Why are we hiring him??"

You constantly backtrack & then dig your heels in the ground wanting to defend a piece of turf no one cares about. The thing is, you actually know what you're talking about but are so averse to losing an argument you'll fight to the end hoping to wear the other person out. I know all about that as I did the exact same thing a long time ago. As far as many members here not liking me? No, it's only 2 or 3 posters who shall go nameless. They know who they are so what's the point of naming them? They carry grudges from 2 decades ago on the other old Our Bomber page. I admit that I was an asshat back then. Even though I have changed quite a bit since then (including a name change). No matter what I say they'll never like it. So, I just don't care anymore. They'll always pile on me even if I had won the Nobel Peace Prize. I rarely start an argument here but I still have an opinion. I've mellowed over the years. You'd have been roadkill 15 years ago.

That's inexperience, I'd say. I think all coaches struggle with that. We've all seen these young high profile NFL head coaches that are supposed to be geniuses screw up all the time. Lots of pressure to win leads to rash decisions. We've seen games where head coaches go for the win & not the tie to force OT after coming back from big deficits here & in the NFL. Leaving most fans to wonder if they left their brains in the locker room. Or gamble on 3rd/4th & long & not make it when they should have punted or kicked. It still is a learning experience.

No, most of you know I call a spade a spade here. I say what's on my mind & don't bacjk down. He's a very good coach. End of story. Too bad if some of you are butt hurt about it. I'm not changing my mind even if he is the Riders HC. Because it's you being you.
