that's exactly what 3DN has become when you have writers like that rodent in Saskatchewan who pens for them & John Hodge.

You have a really good team that may bordering on great but what the hell is Dunk thinking with that article? He's proclaiming Hamilton the champs in February. There is one other team that can run with the Cats & they're the Bombers. And we can't sell the Stamps short. I'd love to see a rematch of our 2 teams again in the GC.

Like what kind of culture has O'Shea created? Plus we beat the Ti Cats to a pulp in the GC. Just so much Eastern CFL media bullshit. One of the reasons I don't read 3DN much anymore.

And other times as well. Punted when we should have gone for it. Gone for it when we should have punted. I remember this place going crazy after some games when LaPo was HC. Well, the other place but you know what I mean.

I seem to remember him panicking on the sidelines in late game 4th quarter key situations when he was Bombers HC that cost us some victories.

Sigurdson was a good journalist but Matty loved to get gritty sometimes. Yet he kept his relationships intact which is something Paul Wiecek could never do. He was just a smart alecky, hack, mean spirited journalist.

I thought he was reassigned by the Spectator & then laid off. Either way, the guy is missed. That seems to be the fate of every good CFL writer. To do something else. Guys like Jack Matheson, Don Blanchard, Reyn Davis, Jim Proudfoot, Scott Young, D I c k Beddoes & others who covered the CFL for decades & had all kinds of sources are gone now & the likes of them are never coming back.

Drew Edwards did a great job covering the Ti Cats for the Spectator. So, naturally that meant moving him off the Ti Cat beat & eventually laid him off.

Why the hate for Bailey? He played well when he did & I like the guy. No problem with him as one of our starting receivers.

Ha, ha sorry, Nolby. My bad.

Thought he was a Rider fan but... if a Rider fan reads it then it still is a stab to their heart.

Do you even know what a Grey Champion is? You've had just 4 in 109 years. Which means if you keep it up the Riders will reach 11 in the middle of the 24th century.

Don't forget the 2 Stephan's as well.- The TV Thread
The new series was so long ago that I forget who was in it.- The TV Thread
Ha, ha. Back in my single days. I'd always stay home, watch MV then hit the bars in Winnipeg downtown. Couldn't PVR or stream in those days.- The TV Thread
I watched that first season with Hagman but when he died I wasn't interested anymore. As soon as Hagman died that series was finished. He carried that show as the supporting new characters were weak in comparison to the original series. Patrick Duffy wasn't able to carry the new showon his own the way Hagman did. He didn't have the same presence on screen & his character Bobby was a nice guy. In the original series, he balanced off JR's ruthlessness & lack of morality. Without JR, Bobby was just a weak Goody Two Shoes. Victoria Principal wasn't part of the new shoe & neither was Steve Kanaly who played Ray Krebbs on the original show. He was the half brother of Bobby & JR & he was looked down upon by JR who never considered him an equal or entitled to any of the estate of their father. Leaving Kanaly & Principal out were mistakes. To me, the new series was okay but not great.- The TV Thread

The Eighties had some great cop series. One of my favourites was this one. Crime Story with the Vegas Cops vs the Vegas Mob set in the early 60's.- The TV Thread
I watched it all the time as that was my generation. My 2 sons are in their 30's & are married.- Game Day Thread- Bombers at Arblows
