One hundred & sixty thousand people crammed into Stampede Park on Sunday as it was Family Day at the Calgary Stampede. One of the DJ's on radio here today said he's never seen so many people at the Stampede before. Stampede officials expect attendance to top one million. With all the Covid variants circulating, there's going to be another wave here in Alberta. Our CMOH has disappeared. So has the Health Minister. Kenney's a lame duck Premier. He doesn't care. We don't get any stats anymore. To the government, the pandemic is over. I won't go within 10 klms of the Stampede.

I remember first going there in the mid 80's when I was in my 20's. Good times.

Also, wasn't it the same with Tim Horton's Roll Up The Rim To Win contest a few years ago when it was discovered only a very few people actually won?

Plus the Stamps have Jake Maier ready to go in if BLM falters or gets injured. The best 1-2 qb punch in the CFL. Like Hamilton had to do this season with Jeremiah Masoli & Dane Evans, the Stamps will have to make a choice this coming February to keep Jake Maier as their #1 qb or let him go to free agency. I just can't see the Stamps keeping Mitchell over Maier.

Can't tell me the CFL doesn't have standing orders from the CFL HO &/or BOG's for the officials to not let them score.
