  1. Will Arndt calling the plays. Young coach, good for him.
  2. The RedBlacks do look like a different team under Bob Dyce. Who is calling the plays?
  3. Yeah. That's right. And to thank Parcells who rescued Belichek's career after his firing in Cleveland Belichek screwed him over with the NY Jets HC job. I just want LaPo to stay the **** away from the Bombers.
  4. Forde keeps making excuses for these guys. Yeah, yeah, the game is fast. We know that. Forde's a dinosaur. Get with the new rules, Dwayne. I don't know. I don't recall. Mike Holmgren sure did.
  5. Looks like a decent crowd in Ottawa tonite.
  6. Every coach has an influencer or mentor who helped them. I'd love to know who Bill Belichek's mentor was.
  7. I'm watching this game on ESPN in Seattle. No Canadian commercials. All American. And they're all different. How refreshing.
  8. Yeah, I had reconstructive surgery on both my feet in 2012 & 2015 due to severe arthritis. I had hardware in both feet. My left foot still has hardware but they were taken out from my right foot after 9 months. My feet may have been fixed surgically but they were never the same. I have no more pain but I have to use a cane to walk because my feet don't work properly as bones have been fused. I have balance issues. I'm 67 & my athletic days are long gone but if I had these surgeries at age 27, I'd have been devastated.
  9. Never really watched the show but okay.
  10. Look what happened to Steve Richardson. Injured twice while working out.
  11. He wouldn't get a small paycheque but it would be pro rated. Playing & winning a championship is important. Sign a contract, play for us & try again next year. That's me, though... If i was as talented as Desjarlais, I'd find sitting & waiting very difficult.
  12. A serious foot injury like this is life altering. It's a big deal. Player safety is player safety whether it's a brain or foot injury.
  13. Well, most of us laugh out loud at what you post here so carry on.
  14. Always the same players. There should be an escalating scale for repeatr offenders. Half a game salary doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent for these players. These things never seem to be addressed in collective bargaining as both parties wait too long to negotiate & are under the gun to get a deal done.
  15. Meanwhile Drew Desjarlais waits for a phone call that may never come. Like that REALLY GREAT job interview we've all had & thinking we nailed it!!!Then waiting... for... that... phone... call... that... never.... came.
  16. The Lions & Campbell are so damned desperate. The kid ain't ready. The other thing is Rourke himself & especially his agent. The guy wants an NFL shot so why risk a permanent long term injury? Especially for the money they're paying him which is peanuts. NFL teams shut their players down for a year after this injury happens. Everyone associated with this injury are stupid here. Like Booch says, okay play the kid. It's on all of them if something bad happens.
  17. FIFY. And the Lions seem to be rushing Rourke. Trying to get him back this season.
  18. Austin's reaction is anti Bombers. He doesn't want to acknowledge that they are the best team in the CFL. Also, he doesn't want any players to win post season awards or for the team to win their third straight Grey Cup. He'd give the MOP award to Rourke with 9 games instead of Collaros with a bigger body of work.
  19. It's sooooooo hard to watch 2 East Division teams. They play such crappy ball. He's out of his boot throwing.
  20. BC playing at Winnipeg in the cold? I like our chances.
  21. When Austin said Rourke is the MOP & that he was absolutely right, then he said "fight me" , I immediately called him out for picking Rourke after just 9 games. He never even acknowledged my tweet nor did he do any fighting. Then he posted another tweet saying the MOC should only be eligible if a player played a certain number of games. He never said how many. Which is the exact opposite for his criteria regarding the MOP award. Which he says shouldn't have a minimum amount of games played to be eligible. So, in other words, a different set of criteria for the MOC over the MOP. When called out on that by his followers, he claimed he was only kidding. Austin always tries to be the smartest guy in the room when he clearly isn't.
  22. Bryant, Harris, Bighill & Collaros.
