    Hopefully we already signed him.
Woods made 78 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three pass knockdowns, and one forced fumble over 49 collegiate games at the University of Illinois. The six-foot-two, 290-pound interior defender went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Woods is a tall lean 3-4 4i/end tweener. That projects as a regular cfl dt not a nose. I didn’t see any snaps with him lined up on the nose in college. Remember stove was a 300lbs nose at like 5’10. Woods is 4-5 inches taller and slim for his weight. He could twist into the nose some but I don’t think he’s gonna be a cfl nose. He does have great mobility for a dt though. He’s like a heavier Ricky walker.

Hate. Never liked that he was the choice. I don’t think any Rider fan I know likes him.

Wilson is an interesting one. Larger pigrome Esq guy. Doesn’t have great down field passing ability but better short and intermediate than you would expect for such a dynamic runner who bounced around a lot.

tbh you could fix an ol real fast if you flipped ratio real hard. Start 3 ol and run a heavy 6man set full time or 4 with just 5 and things would improve fast.  Just no one wants to do that and flip extra WRs, RBs etc to ni.
Beat me to it. I think that’s the min but ya.
Just poach ex bomber imp ol pr guys that’s what most of the league seems to be doing lol.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed nine players, including American quarterback Terry Wilson Jr.
The six-foot-three, 207-pound passer originally committed to the University of Oregon, though he transferred to Garden City Community College following his redshirt freshman season. He played one season with the Broncbusters before moving on to the University of Kentucky and the University of New Mexico.
The native of Oklahoma City, Okla. started 31 games with the Wildcats and Lobos, completing 63.2 percent of his passes for 4,501 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. He also carried the ball 307 times for 1,062 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The 25-year-old attended rookie minicamp with the Dallas Cowboys after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent the 2022 season with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL, appearing in six games and making one start.
The Blue Bombers also signed American receivers Bryce Mitchell and Ontaria Wilson as well as American defensive linemen Nate Givhan and Jamal Woods.
Mitchell made 70 receptions for 1,297 yards and 11 touchdowns over 52 games at the University of Toledo. The six-foot-three, 210-pound target was named second-team All-MAC in 2019 after leading the Rockets in receiving yards.
Wilson made 108 catches for 1,521 yards and 12 touchdowns over 51 games at Florida State University. The native of Ashburn, Ga. also recorded seven carries for 57 yards and one touchdown along the ground.
Givhan spent a portion of the 2023 season on Winnipeg’s practice roster, though he didn’t dress for any regular season games. The six-foot-two, 239-pound edge rusher made 97 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception over 47 collegiate games at the University of Toledo.
Woods made 78 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three pass knockdowns, and one forced fumble over 49 collegiate games at the University of Illinois. The six-foot-two, 290-pound interior defender went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Winnipeg has also brought back four Canadian players who were selected in the 2023 CFL Draft, including running back Jonathan Rosery, defensive lineman Collin Kornelson, linebacker Max Charbonneau, and defensive back Bret MacDougall.
Rosery, who also plays slotback, led the Alberta Golden Bears in receiving yardage this past season, making 32 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns. The five-foot-eight, 199-pound native of Edmonton was taken in the seventh round.
Kornelson made 17 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery playing along the interior of the defensive line for the Manitoba Bisons. The fifth-round pick missed three of the club’s games due to injury.
Charbonneau won the President’s Award as the outstanding stand-up defensive player in the OUA this past year while playing for the Ottawa Gee-Gees. The eighth-round pick made 62 total tackles, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick.
MacDougall made 30.5 total tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery this past season with the Windsor Lancers. The sixth-round pick helped the club win a home playoff game for the first time since 1975.

It is crazy how such a poorly coached team with aging unproductive players and no depth keeps going to Grey Cups.

Despite the cost it is the right answer. 3 or 4 Billion to move it now or 700 Million for Arlington Bridge and then 1.5B for Slaw Rebchuk and on and on in to the future. The possible economic boon from the area currently covered by the rail yard was estimated at 4 or 5 times the cost of moving it (if my memory is correct). How many housing units could be built on that land (after remediation) and the societal gains from removing the division between the North and the rest of the city would have a value as well, but I have no idea how to place an amount on it.
We need to get past doing the cheapest right now and start doing the best for ever solution.

Twenty nine regular season wins in the last 2 seasons. Then factor in the playoffs & it's 31. What qb in recent memory comes even close to that stat?? Cracks? There are no cracks. We have a HC who squanders games with his crazy as hell use of the roster. We have a DC who blitzes into brick walls of blocking. keeps doing it even when it doesn't work. Plays cover zero on the goal line. Yet, it's somehow Collaros showing cracks????

I hope BO proves everyone wrong, makes the NFL and not just as a 3rd stringer on the PR against all odds.
Just like rooting for the guy. He's earned it.
He'll obviously always have a home here if things take a different route.

Let's put it this way... if you told anyone on this site, pre-game, that we would score 24 points and the Als would not score on D or teams.... 100% would agree that's a guaranteed Bomber victory

we'll know what's up with the GM in the next week and a bit, and then we'll start hearing about retirements I'd bet.... we'll start getting a better idea of the big picture before the end of this month.

I reacted with "sad" a lot in this thread... for those posts I reacted to, if you're wonder why... it's not that you're comment was sad or that I disagreed... it's actually the opposite... it's that I agree but it's sad/disappointing/frustrating that it is coming to this (this was easier that quoting like 15 posts)...
It is really the end for Zach as a Bomber?... probably not... but it's becoming very hard to overlook the playoff statistics..
I never truly wanted to believe that O'Shea was hampering the roster with some of his decisions... but playing a clearly injured Bighill was irresponsible... and then the amount of reps that Gauthier was getting in his place... was goddamn mindboggling... Clements and/or Cole should've been getting those reps... you don't rely on a career special teamer to play MLB in the biggest game of the year
The defense just didn't look right all night... they made a few plays here and there but generally got worked over by Cody Fajardo... like, that sentence doesn't even make sense... Cody ******* Fajardo ... how the top D in the league got worked over by a below average QB... in the biggest game of the year... just doesn't sit right
Changes need to be made... Biggie has been a great leader and monumental player over the past 4 seasons... but he is completely done now... ready to move on... not sure who else is definitively done (probably Thomas) ... but I hope our management team makes the right moves and says good bye to a few of the aging vets this offseason
No matter what happens this offseason... I still think the Bombers are the team to beat in the west... we just have to find a way to not lay an egg in the biggest game of the year

of course it is, we're sitting here bitching that we've only won 2 grey cups in 4 straight appearances and have 3 straight first place in the west finishes.
What we got here are first world problems.

Just like Harris before him, I imagine the Bombers are hoping he'll gracefully retire so no awkward convos need to be had.
