Why is the defense gassed but the offense isn't? Excuses excuses. Point is we put 2 TD's on the board when it meant the most.

did u watch just the last 1 minute of the game?? We fluked one out but the D and Nichols were garbage man. Take off the blue glasses. Unless were planning on winning our games with onside kicks and 2 minute drills we are in trouble going forward without some big changes

  2. buddy buddy atmosphere, where everyone gets a season to figure out if they can play in this league. Nichols looks like the 2nd coming of Boltus, Hurl is a rag. Loffler is a ghost. secondary plays soft, cant tackle, Lapo offense is, surprise surprise, junk. Cant wait for the obligatory MOS postgame bull****. I know we have a couple injuries but man this team has SO MANY weaknesses.

I promise to never complain about Bruce Johnson again once he's healthy. Good lord Carmichael is awful.

Oh im sure MOS will keep him in the lineup and keep telling us how great he was in camp. Ive had more than enough of the constant shielding and babying MOS spews out after every depressing loss. I sure hope behind closed doors there is a lot more accountability.

random media member  "Roc Carmichael was again beaten for multiple touchdowns, is there a need for concern?"

MOS "Thats on me. I need to put him in a better position to succeed . We really liked him in training camp. Were happy with his development."

random media member  "Justin Medlock was 0/6 and missed 3 inside the 30. You lost by 3. Does he need to be better?(would never happen but you get my point).

MOS "Thats on me. I need to put him in a better position to succeed. I thought Justin had a strong game in other aspects. He really patted the guys on the butt firmly after a nice play and was really solid in his sideline arm-crossing."

random media member  "All season Sam Hurl has missed numerous open field tackles that led to big gains and TD's. Is this an issue going forward?"

MOS "Sam Hurl is fine. I dont worry about Sam Hurl. I thought he looked great out there in his uniform, it fit just right. I need to put him in a better position to succeed. Thats on me."

Obviously i dont think he should be throwing players under the bus but winners like Dickenson have no problem telling it like it is. I sincerely hope the constant love fest MOS has for his players isnt clouding his judgement. It sure seems like it has at times over the years.

  4. -Carmichael still getting torched in week 5 but im sure good 'ol MOS will keep trotting him out and telling the media how great he was in camp

-Horrible decision but Nichols on that backbreaking 4th quarter INT. You cant read a defense at this point in your career?

-Lapo play calling the usual m.o. come out slower than molasses in the 1st, get a lead, then stop doing everything that was working and throw 4 yard passes the rest of the game.

-MOS again dumbass decisions. Your punting up 8 on your own 25 and you throw a ****ing pass?!?! Id like to get through a game and not wonder what is wrong with his brain.

-How can someone with a rocket leg be so s***ty at punting? I understand its different motion, hold, etc but my god, he must of had like a 30 yard average while the BC kicker was launching 60 yarders. And he was atleast 4 yards short on that 50 yarder. A real **** game from him all around.

Im so sick of losing due to garbage coaching and inept players

  5. My dad and I used to collect back in the late 80's/early 90's and amassed quite a large collection. Hockey, baseball, football, basketball. Ofcourse me being an idiot in my mid-20's, decided i needed some quick cash and sold most of the collection for pennies on the dollar. Big time regret. So dumb. Theyve really waned in popularity over the last 20+ years and i wonder if there will ever come a time again when they are as popular. I remember collecting baseball a lot in the late 80's and it was just Topps, Fleer, and Donruss and too a smaller extent Leaf. Hockey was just O-Pee-Chee and Topps. Now my god, there must be 50+ different manufacturers. Back in the day a player had ONE rookie card per Manufacturer, now its like 100. I was looking at maybe getting a Laine rookie and its insane the amount of options. Some for $5, others nearly $1000. Never mind all the grading that goes on now too. Just ridiculous.

Over the last few years i started getting back into it a bit, picking up a card or two every few months but just Jets and Blue Bomber players. Ive started a nice little collection of 1959 Wheaties cards with Kenny Ploen, Gerry James, Leo Lewis, and Buddy Tinsley. I was hoping to get a Bud Grant rookie and ive seen a couple but they are a little too rich for my blood. I started with the core Jets, Scheifele, Trouba, Wheeler, Little rookies. Then started to get into the older guys Selanne, Hawerchuk, Housley, Steen, Essensa, and then even older Erik-Sjoberg, Hedberg, Nilsson and Boddy Hull's 1st card as a Jet. Surprisingly most of these cards were quite inexpensive. Nice nostalgia feeling to it.

  6. Glad for the win, game could have been a loss if not for some VERY questionable penalties and some missed calls. Special teams, get your **** together. Nichols/Lapo, come out faster and dont throw on 2nd down with under a minute left, up by 8 when youre running well. Westerman, stop taking dumb penalties. That is all.

Wild is looked upon as a smart, aggressive LBer who can cover on passing plays. As mentioned, the guy makes plays. But I guess this is an attempt to smudge the Scouting staff.

Lets first see if no one else can play on the Wild side before we condemn anybody's recruiting...

Wild had a rough year last year. He missed a TON of tackles. Couple that with the fact that he cant stay healthy and he's an average linebacker at best. Steady, but never really stands out in a good way or influences the game with big tackles/plays. He's serviceable but i could see getting the same production out of knox and/or santos-knox.

    Couple things:

    1. I wonder how much of this is Hall's schemes... I remember last year Johnson was a bit of a whipping boy, now everyone seems to be clamoring for him to get better.

    2. Carmichael was awful - on top of getting eaten alive, he was the one called for offsides on that 3rd and 1 that gave Calgary another 3 cracks at scoring.

    3. We need to be more aggressive on play offensive calling, it's the difference between playing to win, and playing not to lose. I also didn't like the call to take a knee going into the half.

And just before that drive there was 52 seconds left when calgary went to punt and MOS doesn't call a timeout?!?! 30 seconds ticked away by the time we snapped the ball . What the **** was he thinking?! I was screaming "call a ***ing timeout you jack***". Sometimes I really find it hard to figure out what is going on is MOS's brain. Combine brainfart coaching with wet paper bag D and Nichols s***ting all over the field in the 2nd half and it was Just a **** game altogether.
