I don't think Glenn was mentally weak, its just that he didn't give a ****. Nichols seems much more fragile. Crying to the papers about getting booed and all.

There seems to be a chicken/egg scenario. Is it Lapo calling garbage games or is it Nichols not being able to execute? I am no fan of Lapo but I refuse to believe after all his years in the league he has become braindead and is calling a bunch of 5 yard outs on 2nd and 8. I think its Nichols being too risk adverse and wanting to get rid of the ball too early before the plays have developed/guys get open. I remember last year after one of his shitshows he threw the receivers under the bus saying no one was open all game. Like give me a break. Maybe if you would hold onto the ball for more than 2 mississippis someone could get open for **** sakes. He's like the anti-Mike Reilly. Reilly will wait until the last possible second to throw just as a 300 pounder buries him into the turf. Not saying that's a better outcome but somewhere in the middle would be a nice spot for Nichols as opposed to dumping it off cause he felt a slight breeze.

I think its the way theyve lost the games that most people are panicking about. No one would be complaining if they lost a 31-30 hard fought game against Hamilton with Masoli and Nichols trading punches. Its the fact that happy-feet hot garbage Nichols is back and the once stout defense is giving up huge yards to clowns like MBT.

It kills me to say it but it looks like those trash Rider fans have been right all along. Nichols is and always will be a ham 'n egger. No consistency, too conservative, cant/wont stretch the field, cant handle the pass rush, panics too quickly, cant go through his reads, mentally fragile. This team is going nowhere with him at the helm. Im convinced of this now.

ONE ****ing first down after the Jefferson strip/fumble recovery! ONE! And we probably win that game. A team that cant get a first down when it needs it is a pretender and will NEVER win a championship.

No f'ing kidding! He was Johnny Roll-Out all game and it led to 2 TD's. And then...…..nothing since. This team is so ****ing frustrating! Its like they find something that works and then its "Well that's working great, scrap it!" Or its the opposite and they beat it to death until everyone in the stadium knows its coming.

Would it ****ing kill MOS to put Streveler in for a series or two when Nichols is shitting all over the field?? Like really?? If Nichols' ego cant take it or he's too mentally fragile to sit and watch for a few drives then its time to go sell insurance.

On pace for 450 yards against a Hamilton defence that made Nichols look like Alex Brink. Fajardo has 25 more yards at the half than Nichols threw all game.

He's been a complete non-factor the whole season. I seriously don't remember one stellar play Bighill has made this year, but ive noticed a ****-ton of missed tackles.

Ive said this before and ive noticed it with other QB's like Trevor Harris after really watching him in our 2nd game. Nichols goes to his first read, its not there, he starts getting happy feet and looks to check down to AH. Trevor Harris goes through his read. 1 not there, 2 not there, 3 open-throw.

Could you imagine this offense with Masoli, BLM, Reilly, Harris, hell Fajardo at this point! The run game, the weapons at receiver, the o-line, its all being wasted with Nichols. year after year.

Im honestly ok with that if its gets Nichols the **** off the team. Im tired of his jekyl and hyde show. Some guys just don't have it when the chips are down and the game is on the line. Time to see what Streveler can do.

I don't know if its Lapolice or Nichols or both but I am so ****ing tired of this team not being able to move the ball or string together a couple first downs to finish off a game. Its been going on for years and this team will be pretenders until they can fix this pop-gun, 7 yard out on 2nd and 10 offense.

Game 1 he was leaving the pocket and throwing on the run constantly. His two TD passes were a direct result of that. Now that has almost disappeared. Its back to happy feet when first read isn't there and he is feeling pressure. His pocket awareness seems to have gotten worse as the season goes on.

I don't think its a bullshit question at all. He has a history of playing poorly in "big" hyped up games. I didn't question his ability which he clearly has, im questioning his mental toughness when all eyes are on him. Its almost like he gets too amped up in big games and is sailing balls all over the field while trying to force things which leads to poor decisions. Until he can win the big games while playing at his highest level there will and should be questions. And please, last night he was junk, even he admitted it and he had one good drive. Don't **** in my hand and tell me its ice cream. After his one TD drive he went back to happy feet check down Matt. Even when we needed to drive the field with under a minute left he was double clutching on longer throws opting to complete 6 yard passes...Like really? Your not going to 6 yard pass your way down the field from our 15 with 45 seconds left. At some point you need to take a shot. You're scared to throw a pick?? The game is over if you don't try dude, you've gotta take a shot at some point.
