In regards to Daniels not getting targets…. Is it possible that they view him as a bit of a surprise element for week 1 and didn’t want to put anything about him other than blocking on film.

Only 2 Americans kept at receiver on the active roster and 4 American offensive lineman. Seems like we are trending towards starting 3 Canadians at receiver and more than 2 Americans on the offensive line. How the number 1s line up in practice will be telling. Hypothetically we could start 4 Americans on the offensive line. We could use Willie Jefferson as the nationalized American and split kramdi and Allen at safety or something to that affect.

It’s pretty typical of any sports league to have to pay for more than one service to get every games. Thats how you maximize money. Essentially the cost of acquiring all games went up for consumers and some of that increase is being passed to the league. Services will pay for right if it will drive subs.

When are cuts due

As league revenues grow it should help to make some additional teams to be viable even with smaller stadiums.

True but in the context of what he’s saying I think he’s right. Finding an American who can play a better guard than Nuefeld at league minimum shouldn’t be difficult in fact we already have vanterpool who can do that.

Teams need up using it in a specific way last year because it was announced so late. Can’t imagine it didn’t become apart of the normal cap going forward.

Have we adjusted the numbers based on the cap going up last year and this year ? BO not getting that much of raise really based on cap percentage.

I would like Oshea to return and would even be ok with him receiving gm duties with Brock doing all actually GM stuff save for making the final decisions on players. This would free up operations cap space to hire LaPolice as OC. Talk of moving on from O’Shea is crazy to me. Yes his roster management is annoying but we won’t a lot of games over the past several seasons with his linebacker heavy lineups. Be carefull what some of you wish for.

Those guys sure looked good and will give us some nice options next season. We should move on from at least one of our aging defensive ends and spend money elsewhere.

Elgersma worked out for the giants 3 days ago who apparently didn’t previously plan to add a qb to their practice roster. Crickets since then. I would be a bit surprised if someone added him considering the Packers didn’t bother to do it. Given his lack of experience with the American game I wouldn’t imagine that he’s a guy you call when you need depth when you have an injury. And the Packers passed on him as a developmental guy.

It’s true. But I’m talking about a scenario where he’s got no more nfl teams willing to work him out. I’d fully expect he would want to be on an nfl practice roster rather than come here.

Right now he is going to exhaust his NFL opportunities but when that’s exhausted and it could happen pretty quickly I think he becomes pretty eager to sign given the opportunity to burn through a year of his entry level deal in the CFL. Does he want to make 75k still as a starter in the 2030 season or deal he want to make 450k?

I actually think we would have beat Calgary with the current lineup with Allen at safety.

Maybe woodbey to Sam, Griffen to halfback, Holm to corner. This is actually a pretty big game this week…. A win and they have a stranglehold on at bar minimum a crossover a loss and the sky is falling. I still think they can cobble something together and get Scheon and Ontaria Wilson back later in the season.
