Journalist Sara Orlesky discovers that her married boyfriend, Kevin Cheveldayoff, heads an NHL team that is involved in tanking for a high draft pick. To stop her from going public, Cheveldayoff deceives her with promises that changes will be made during the off-season. It is up to coaches Paul Maurice and Wade Flaherty to keep the team's playoff hopes alive and intact in the face of repeated attacks from Jets fans sent by Cheveldayoff. Starrring... FTWD is just bad tv so far to me. In half a season of eps they are full on into Zombieville.

I'll give you a thumbs up for such a long write up. I love the first movie myself. Yeah the science of Trek was put in a box and thrown away. Sad but true. Pike was tortured to get the Earth defense keys or something like that, also the Klingons were hot on Nero's trail. As Uhura explains in this hot(?) scene. Okay, yeah if the Narada had Borg tech(source: comics?) the Klingons should have stripped it. As for the black hole thingy I thought it was obvious they were partially in it not outside of it which is why they were ripped apart.

Maybe they went for 0 games hoping for middle ground response which would have been 10 games.

Best part about the Jets tanking is that it looks like the perfect crime. Letting Stempy/Tlusty/Slater go did not look like tanking. Maybe signing only Matt Fraser during the off season. They've signed Buff and might sign Ladd back up. Still got Maurice as coach.
