  1. Past hour
  2. I kinda get not pulling a qb in a game you’re winning, but I think that kind of ballsy move would send a perfect message to our locker room young and old. Perform, or be replaced. No exceptions. I would’ve pulled both strevy and zach in each guys last game. More than one for zach. I’m not giving up on strevy yet. But I’m not willing to bank a season on him either. At this point, you gotta make a hard decision. Is Wilson/Chase a future starter? If you’re not sure ditch one. See if any one is willing to trade a vet qb young or old. Strev needs to be pushed and so does zach. If not, open the bank and bring in some one who can step up quickly. UFL, nfl back up when the cuts hit etc.
  3. This is the nature of this regime… inexplicable stratagems coupled with intransigent inscrutability. It’s okay as long as ur winning but…
  4. I don’t know what to expect from a “healthy” ol at this point. We’ve had soo much turn over and it’s been soo long it’ll take forever for un healthy guys to get the rust off get their wind back and get back into a groove. Im encouraged by flashes from Randolph, Vanterpool, and Lofton. Lofton came back much better than I expected. At this point im hoping vanterpool gets healthy, goes back in at G, Lofton stays at LT, and rando at rt. My biggest hope for improvement is some how we see through Kola who suddenly can’t even snap reliably. Give me Eli or even Wallace at C. Let a unit like that play together for a month. Maybe Bryant is 100% for the stretch run that’d be great. I don’t want to see him run out at a fractional power. even at 100% he hasn’t been great this year. We are part way through the growing pains with guys like Wallace, Lofton, Randolph, and vanterpool. May as well see how far they can grow before the stretch run.
  5. Yeah...Tates a good journalist and guy..but he also has to spread the message from Osh and team...he won't be critical of anything...ever...not with any real conviction
  6. Yeah he should get 2 or 3 in a row for sure if anything to let ZC rest...he came into the rain game...then last night no real practice all week and a high-school level oc'd game and a div 2 quality recieving group...get a full week in this week...get some legit scheming..coaching...and talent around him...and see whats what...also gotta remember...hes barely 9 months removed from a complete knee rebuild...takes time to get the movement and running back
  7. And this is why you don’t trust a hack who’s “covers” the org he who plays his mortgage. Don’t get me wrong…Ed seems like a decent guy but he basically writes propaganda
  8. He's getting his chance now... if it keeps looking like that then sure try something else. Wasn't working with collaros, we give streveler some games see what happens.
  9. Yesterday
  10. There are certain personalities who, when forced to take an action not chosen by then, will do what is forced on them but will do it in a fashion that sabotages any benefit. Then they can say "See? I did it and it didn't work just like I said". I see O'Shea as doing this passive/aggressive crap.
  11. Yeah. They both are terrible. But one is probably hurt and the other has gotten worse since he’s been back. I mean Zach was pulled last game. Streveler should have been last night. Pretty simple no. It’s not your guy vs their guy here. I mean. What the **** does collaros have to do with last night ?
  12. Disagree to an extent. Talent in its prime can compensate for inept coaching and roster management for a time but inevitably you see what we saw for the past 2+ seasons. We yahoos in this forum saw it and commented on it but we were voices crying in the wilderness.
  13. And no play makers...not a good mixture He's legit...I know guys who clocked him at mid 4.5's in 40 yard dash...for dline guy that's insane
  14. He should be getting looks on defence...if we were letting Hallett play...both him and Shay should be getting reps
  15. Smith looks like a great athlete, I think he's got a bright future
  16. Yeah ,thats one thing I dont like about Eddie. I love watching his podcasts though. Darren Cameron is a hoot ,has no filter.
  17. Imo, next to hc and OC is the hardest coaching job come game day. Even the prep work during the week is massive. If you’re a hc who doesn’t have a heavy hand in o or d, OC is likely harder. Or being an oc with a struggling qb. Hard, hard job. It also has one of the shortest shelf life’s. I would’ve expected our O to be much further along at this point, especially with Jackson as the qb coach. Hogan has had plenty of adversity, I’d be willing to give him more grace, if he had shown any flashes at all. But the problems are deep and the bright spots nearly none existent.
  18. Kids got a motor ,i see a bright future up here.
  19. Yeah the talk was about grooming him for that role. Clearly we did **** all in coaching him since he twice didn’t know what his responsibilities were when it’s kicked shallow and to his side. Reality is if you are gonna break into this league as an imp rb, or if you’re going to roster one, they need maximum versatility. And rb is a spot with a lot of the build in tools to do the extra jobs. Plus we’ve literally done this before. With Flanders, Augustine, gmc etc. The last imp wr around here needs to have the ability to run sweeps etc too. End of the day it’s the ocs job to put the players in position to get the ball in their hands and make plays. Who do you want to be that guy, Corcoran, Mitchell, and Cooley. You can run Cooley out of the back field, tight etc and have him make easy catches, motion for sweeps and hand offs, and let him make plays. Or, you can let Mitchell do what we paid him to do. Or you can put out Corcoran who can’t block, get open, or run, but he can catch.
  20. On the vaval KR td was nice to see J.Jones and Adams take out the guys to spring him and our rookies Shay and Smith escort him in...
  21. After TPP watch A Shot In The Dark then The Return of the Pink Panther and The Pink Panther Strikes Again and quit.
  22. Just a reminder that these are just Neg List notifications... Not signings....
  23. Or one that has 7 tds and 8 picks...and a sub 80% efficiency
  24. Doug Brown also lets it be known that he thinks Streveler sucks also tho. I’m a fan of brown but at times he likes to be the smartest guy in the room and he does get annoying at times but he’s speaking facts.
  25. Ya I think there's a healthy enough respect between them because they're both among the best to ever do it at their respective positions, but there was absolutely no love lost between those Bombers and Argos teams of the 2000s.... I'm sure there's some unresolved things.
