  1. Past hour
  2. Streveler himself said he was just winded really. I mean if you guys gonna double standard this with schoen and that whole mountain out of mole hills crap you should prob not talk of injuries.
  3. I come into each game day with a renewed sense of optimism. I always believe we have at least a chance to win. As I get older, the shittiness of a loss seems to wash away quicker.
  4. Brady needs 101 carries in the final games here to have the same amount of runs as last year. He’s almost at his receiving totals from last year already but needs about just under 600 yards to match his rushing totals. He’s actually average 5.6 per run this year vs 5.7 last but his average catch goes for 9.2 yards as opposed to 8.4 last year. Should definitely be in MOC conversation but probably not MOP since well, the team isn’t as good.
  5. Demski's and Oliviera's performances are much more remarkable when you consider how meh the rest of the team is this year.
  6. Is he or is our media a bunch of clowns at times. I mean it goes both ways. Yeah everything is O’Sheas fault to the 10 of you on here and 28 that listen to the coaches show but dude is out there daily taking pretty stupid questions. Repetitive ones. Where’s the gm? He has said nothing since free agency really. The draft maybe was the last time Walters spoke. Lots of the issues with the team is talent related. There is no talent to replace the current talent with. How is that on O’Shea and not the guys apparently bringing in the talent. There ain’t no game breakers or superstars just chilling on our PR. If there were teams would be like yoink we are taking Adams or woods. But they aren’t so the talent just isn’t there. That’s on Kyle and the scouts.
  7. Hence...why we at where we are...sad
  8. Streveler took a pretty heavy hit at the end of last game, but his litany of injuries is becoming a concern. It may be just bad luck, but it also be just who he has become from all the pounding he has taken.
  9. At this point if Brown starts he probably gets hurt.
  10. Understandable. If Brown is healthy and starts, it will be tough sledding.
  11. I tend to agree with you. It is getting somewhat frustrating to see what we have on the field. We keep looking for help from somewhere but nothing seems to show up. We keep looking at who is coming off the injury list but are they any better than what we current have in the starting line up? I really believe the cupboard is bare this year and we need to really ratchet up our recruiting now for 2026. We may make the playoffs but not with Stev as our QB and even if we do make it I doubt we would be able to field a competitive team.
  12. A kicker does not belong on a list of most outstanding Canadians.
  13. Ferguson decided to throw Lirim on there, knowing he doesn't have a legit shot at MOC. If it was a true top 5 list, I'm sure BO would have been there (or should have been). Lirim (and a few other guys) should have been put in an honorable mention category, IMO.
  14. Like they’ve seen enough of Strev? 🙃 I like the percentages you’ve added. Gives me a Dumb and Dumber “so you’re saying there’s a chance feel” 😉
  15. 1 - 90% of this happening, I don't see how they can bring the guy back for a 2nd season in a row. 2 - 50% of this happening. I'd really like to see Wilson be given some real game time to see what we have in him. Throwing him 4 minutes left in a game wont' cut it. Having him play the 3rd quarter last week would of been the smart thing to do. 3 - I'd imagine this year they almost have to sign a few guys. I'm assuming Bryant will retire and they'll have to fill some holes. It would be extremely disappointing if they don't add at least 3 starters. 4 - New GM 25% chance.... new HC I'd say 15% chance. O'Shea has a massive leash. It is disappointing though that for this and last season they almost seem paralyzed at the idea of changes. During our prime years with these guys they had the ability to find multiple guys (mainly on D) who could step in and play right away. Nowdays it feels like they have nothing in the cupboards. No "potential" on the bench who just needs a few more weeks of practice to catch up. Absolutely nothing. 5 - The game day experience continues to be top tier and I don't imagine much of a reduction of fan support at the home games. 6 - I'd say 66% chance of happening... if they make zero changes next season then 2027 will be clean house time.
  16. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/09/17/most-outstanding-canadian-watch-who-are-the-top-contenders/ Demski at number 2 but can't believe Oliveira isn't on the list. Reigning MOP (should be back to back if we are being honest), and despite missing almost 3 entire games is 3rd in the league in Yards from Scrimmage, and the pace he is on will likely take the lead in the next couple games... even accounting for the game where he played only 1 drive he is pretty much on a 2K yards from scrimmage pace.
  17. Oh, I am pretty certain that the team has seen enough- the tall foreheads though... probably not.
  18. Demski should be the front runner for league MOC.... He's been incredible.
  19. Speaking of changes … if things unfold as they seem to be this season, what things are going to be different in 2026? 1. New OC (seen enough of Hogan although I’m afraid the team hasn’t). 2. New backup QB, possibly Elgersma, only because Zach’s contract runs out after 2026). 3.FA signings on the O and D line? (Haven’t even seen who’s available, but there has to be some upgrades that could improve both lines) 4. New GM? Head coach? (Extreme doubt for these) 5. Fan support wanes a bit and puts some pressure on management (hard to say but it makes sense, especially if we don’t even make the playoffs in a home Grey Cup year) 6. Status Quo on everything (😕)
  20. Today
  21. We have nice uniforms? Yup ND is the man. BO is the man. I’m a huge Holm fan, love the way he carries himself, so needed with our current situation. Nice to see Dancing Gabe out there doing his thing. We still remain the gold standard in how to support our BB’s. AND the argos and riders continue to smell real bad so that’s encouraging yet foul to the nose. uck.
  22. I would also suggest to the people finding the negativity unbearable, that they are more than welcome to provide some positive topics to discuss. I'll start - can we celebrate Nic Demski for a minute? He seems to be getting better with age & is on pace for a career season right now (sitting at 882 receiving yards and his current average would have him around 1220 yards after a full season). He's only a few yards behind McInnis (888 yds) for the top Canadian receiver despite the quality of QB'ing we've had this season. Knock on wood that he can stay healthy and keep it going this year.
  23. Yeah, why change? Everything is great.
