  1. Past hour
  2. 7 out of 8 games coming up will be challenging, Stamps (2) Argos (2) and Als (1) leading into back to back with the Riders and the LDC, good chance all starting QB's will be back for those games. How they perform in that stretch will define their season and whether they still have the ability to compete with the top teams, or if they've officially been dethroned as King of the Hill.
  3. I won't jump the gun on one game, especially given our performance prior to bye weeks over the past several year, however it is pretty evident that our coaches and players all need a swift kick in the ass after that fiasco last night. The lack of execution and piss poor game plan is on the coordinators not OShea. However, it is OShea's job to make sure that his team plays with effort and for 60 minutes. It is also the players jobs to be mentally prepared and ready to play. Everyone took a **** last night. Coach, coordinators and players all need to do a lot better.
  4. My untrained eye would put WJ as our number one freelancer that can be frustrating at times to watch when it comes to DE’s responsibilities. And yes he does get mugged a fair amount but that seems to be the advantage refs are giving the offence these days, holding penalties seem to be called less frequently.
  5. Dickey beat the brakes off MOS by having a team that was far more prepared and interested in playing last night. Out schemed is on Younger and Hogan who had absolutely horrid game plans and total lack of adjustments throughout the game.
  6. 1. MOS-Outcoached and poor game day roster 2. Kyle Walters-At best enabled MOS by bringing back vets like Thomas, Kolo etc 3. Wade Miller-Frankly needed to have a tough talk with MOS and KW this off season HH-To all of us here who suffered through watching the game
  7. MTL game last year was awful. What was it week 2 with BC in town in 2023? VA even pumped the Bombers last year. They do just appear and then go. Again...that's the pattern over a few seasons now. Early blow out losses, they have 1 in each of the last 3 seasons included last night. Again I don't like it....but I don't understand the panic and acting like this is some odd situation that is something we haven't seen from this regime. There's a pattern here...and it's for whatever reason, this regime and team play like dog **** before they get a week off. But usually come back stronger. Time will tell.
  8. Yup that was my point with the question because maybe I’m missing something cuz all I see, like you, is no push every rep 99 percent of the time. I just feel we’re disrespecting the importance of this position as a throw away so someone can keep playing the game they love playing and has given so much back to the game but in truth those days are over, new chapter time. Depth has to produce as well.
  9. But cracks don't just disappear. The age of this team is a concern and that first half was maybe the worst half of football I can remember and we've all seen some **** from bomber teams.
  10. Means he's being used as depth to give the better players a rest.
  11. I was ok with Jake taking limited reps. But I honestly don't see anything worth keeping at this point. He got absolutely zero push multiple times. Like stood up almost a yard off the line of scrimmage. I watched him not get past the line of scrimmage multiple times. How can they be ok with that? There's no other options out there? I just don't get it. I don't think it will at this point. He has been getting next to no push from the start of games for multiple weeks now.
  12. The lower his reps go translates in him being effective at nose tackle?
  13. nothing. Again....this type of game happens every year. They respond every year and move on. I don't like it. But it's been a pretty consistent aspect of this club for years now. Maybe it gets worse and they go on a skid. But if we're talking about patterns based off of the history of this club. They're on track to have another double digit win season and get into the playoffs.
  14. Which is ironic as they were playing him at the line of scrimmage a fair bit last night.
  15. I’d be curious about his average depth of tackle. Always seemed to be at least 7-8 yards downfield and the ball carrier was was getting a few after contact. Would like the MLB to be more of a wall and less of tackling dummy.
  16. Jake has had a ton of reps all year.
  17. Today
  18. My only issue with Jake is usage. I was wondering if Lawson got hurt again last night because Jake took a TON of reps .. that just can't be happening.
  19. Peterson on that sack effed up too...he needs to recognize the pressure and at least chip...he just drifted off into nowhere land as an outlet pass...BO woud have cleaned that up...rookie error....and good thing that was Strev who can take a hit...as I think the CGY player actually got the worse for wear...if that was ZC...couldnt been curtains for him for a while good thing we already signed him for 2026 tho haha...sight unseen too
  20. we kept the wrong quarterback
  21. Been nothing wrong with Kyrie Wilson's game...the issue there is dependability...when healthy he one of the top WIL's in the league and he still has great lateral range and tackling ability...and plays in control T.Jones at times has zero control and just blows himself right out of the play....doesn't have the lateral range....and can't play in space worth **** Wood's is actually hurt so it's not a conspiracy and he would help, but at who's expense?...nobody's if we just stick with Wallace or Eli at guard...Vpool being in isnt some big net gain for us by any stretch We really need to get Person and Bailey on the roster for if for anything to see what they bring to the dline....it will be more than what Korn/Thomas bring...and both those guys can play on cover teams for kicks...that alone is a net positive and would give WJ nad Vaughters much need rest so they can actually play unleashed every snap, and we don't waste Adams on the edge.... With WJ, Vaughters...Person, Bailey, Adams, Woods and Lawson, and the use of 6 Canadian on offence (3 oline, BO, 2 Receivers) you only need 1 Canadian on the field at any given time...so take your pick of Lawson and or Kramdi....and you can sub either one out at anytime for a Griffin....DL guy...Ayers (tho pretty sure he now hurt) No need for both of Thomas and Korn/Schmeck....either really...When Kelly back dress him and Cobb...Or Kelly and Makonzo if he ever gets out of the tub... Tell me JY would prefer Thomas/Korn/Lawson/Adams/WJ/VAUGHT/Ayers over WJ/VAUGHT/Person/Bailey/Adams/Woods/Lawson
  22. I was trying to watch Thomas as much as possible to see how ineffective he was. he made one tackle ( from chase mode ) for about a 7 yard running play. The other one was where the RB essentially ran into him and a crown at the LOS. So I didn't see much that impressed me about him in particular or the front 4 in total. We gave up 100 yards rushing and gave Adams too much time to throw. The saving grace is that aside from a couple of big pass plays he didn't do much. OTOH, he didn't need to .
  23. Outside of run blocking (and Calgary is in the bottom third of run defense), I thought line play was terrible. Neufeld getting completely turned around .. Randolph giving up that late sack that nearly got Streveler killed .. Kolo being dog walked .. is not emblematic of good line play. Even Bryant's play is falling off but that may be more a sign that the unit as a whole struggling vs. Big Stan in isolation (though I do think he's no longer the premier tackle he used to be). That said .. I do think Vanterpool / Wallace are upgrades over Dobson (who I never thought lived up to expectation). Randolph over Lofton feels like addition by subtraction (though Randolph hasn't exactly lit the world on fire).
  24. Yeah i have no doubts they will win convincingly next game... but what does that mean when you don't have a bye between every game?
  25. tackles after yards were gained...lotsa whiffs too....and in coverage is a lost cause...but he inked a 2 yr deal pre-TC so we all knew he was penciled in as starter...Jake too....they need not even have attended camp really....they were safe J.Jones...the rookie Woodbey..Ayers....all would offer a more well rounded game...and be more versatile too...
  26. Tell me what the pattern is after coming off a humiliating loss and a bye week?
  27. in football...when players seem to perform well....and when they seem to perform like crap....it's generally on team prep and coaching/scheme leading into the game....what may look like a bone head play could be the player coached to do this...opposed to that Players cant go rogue or they will not see the feild.....that being said sure some times exceptional effort/talent can supersede poor prep/coaching...we saw a lot of that in 2019 thru to mid 2022....but are talent and youth has waned...a lot ans we have a HC who insists to look back...and not forward...and definitely not at whats going on currently Also....if guys are dogging it...or just not getting it done...thats when th HC needs to show he has a pair of stones in his saggy scrout and pull a player(s) and not worry about ruffling a vet's...or a fav's feathers or ego...plain and simple no point...Osh wont give a answer...will walk all around it or give a smug reply...and prob ask for CJOB to have your number blocked for future episodes haha
