  1. Past hour
  2. I think it’s safe to say 1. Zach 2. Strev 3. Open.
  3. Update: nhl ain’t even looking at it
  4. Yea...most of our QBs in this league had good NCAA careers. They may not be the cream of the crop that goes to the NFL but many make a pretty decent chunk of change in college now. Any QB on a decent Div 1 team is cashing some nice cheques.
  5. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/connor-hellebuyck-leon-draisaitl-nikita-kucherov-named-hart-trophy-finalists-1.2298780 yup. He’s setting guys up lots tho. I think he could easily be point per game if his line mates were finishing some of the chances he creates for them. He’s been good for a young one. I actually think they should try him at center next year. He has those qualities. Strong 2 way player. ?? Perfetti Ehlers ?? = unknown LW but prob have to be a bigger guy cuz Fetts and fly are both smaller. Iafallo maybe fits there. Not big but does all the dirty work. Although ideally Tanev Lowry Iafallo becomes a shutdown defensive type line. Cuz all 3 are very good defensively. That’s a shutdown line there for sure. Perfetti Names Ehlers tho were killing it before Niks injury. I thought our best line most nights even.
  6. yup....allow him to get his stuff in order....put in the legit work and come back with a nice chip on his shoulder to prove himself...I wish we had went with him....
  7. agreed...at worst ....he can be Faj when Faj plays that odd game outside his ability....at best I see him as a Tracy Ham type....that tho has to be allowed to be an actual QB and with a Co-Ordinator that isn't stuck in a box and has no clue how to use players.....Realistically I can see him as a more polished Kerry Joseph....a guy who will lead and have guys go thru a wall for him...as thats what he is gonna do...and give you more wins than losses and a guy who can take a game on and pull out a win from time to time on his sure will alone....Camp should be tres' interesting
  8. Sure but his linemates can’t do anything about the need for him to finish his grade a/b chances. I’m not trying to be hard on the young man, loads of talent, but we really need him to produce if we plan to go deep into the playoffs this year.
  9. 🎵You gotta have Hart, all you really need is Hart, when the odds are sayin' you'll never win that's when the grin should start🎵
  10. well why do you think I said "I just voted"
  11. If nothing more comes of this, I assume precedent set in this series. Next time Kyrou, Thomas etc head is down looking for the puck and a Jet player leaves his feet and steamrolls him, expect a two minute interference penalty just for consistency? The obvious strategy employed by the Blues from the start of this series is to target our top guys as much as they can get away with and at this point it seems they continue to be given a lot of latitude by the referring crew.
  12. I'm rooting for Streveler, he has a mental and physical toughness unlike many. IF he is used as s real QB and not a gimmick I honestly do believe he can be a true starting caliber QB in the CFL. I could be wrong but, with his attributes, experiences, and the stage of his life he is in combined with how hard he has rehabbed, I would be very surprised if he gets beat out for number 2.........but if he does then I will be very happy as the guy who beats him would IMO be a real stud QB!
  13. I was at the game last night…. Crazy atmosphere…. As others have said, and we’ve been saying throughout this series, the officiating has been straight up crooked. The refs are simply ignoring the cheap **** the Blues are doing behind the play and right in front of their faces. Several times last night I watched an official stare right at a blatant infraction, and do nothing. Schenn should get a game for that hit, no doubt, but I’d be shocked if he did.
  14. Today
  15. Season Stats Games Played: 11 | Starts: 10 Passing: 187-298-7 for 2,672 yards and 20 TDs | Long: 70 Rushing: 59-146 1 TD | Long: 16 Total Offense: 357 plays | 2,818 yards Punting: 36.0 average (2-72) | I20: 1 | Long: 42 would you look at that. He can punt also. I feel there’s the real possibility that Strev is used as a QB finally. Again. Dude was good when they let him throw a few years ago. Went to nfl. Came back. Didn’t let him throw.
  16. Johnny Augustine wasn’t really good tho. Ok special teams guy but definitely not a starter.
  17. That was my thought. In a backwards kind of way, it actually makes him a "safer" pick.
  18. Then you’d have to vote again. You just voted federally. This is city
  19. It’s a suspension in the regular season for sure. These refs tho have allowed St. Louis to get away with it tho. Schenn only got 2 for interference and 2 for roughing which was extra cuz our guy got 2 minutes also. Refs almost evened it up. Gave them a 2 minute power play really when should have been a 5. And a game. If Schenn got 5 and a game I’d be ok with no suspension but he got 2 minutes for the hit and 2 minutes for roughing. That’s not enough. And it’s not the first time a hit like that was thrown on a jet with no call. St. Louis almost has to legit murder for a penalty call.
  20. My biggest issue with rh bhit is that Scheifele clearly wasn't looking at Schenn. He was looking toward the boards where the puck was. Schenn saw he wasn't looking and still went through him. That's as egregious as it gets.
  21. Dude can play....and if he is not totally a fraud then it's probably much the same as picking a guy who you knew was gonna exhaust all NFL interest for a yr before showing up...this instance it's a certainty he will be in camp fr 2026 as no NFL team will even give him e second thought now....
  22. Yup...for a regime that puts at times...too much relevance in vets...no way they going to war in 2025 with ZC..Wilson and rando scrub....not happening...And I wont be shocked to see Strev taking reps and situational work away from ZC
  23. Similar to the ekblad hit. Believe he got a game or 2. Schenn won’t cuz nhl don’t care about illegal checks on Canadian teams.
  24. Not to mention the fact that Scheif didn’t have the puck and he was in a vulnerable position. Reminds me of the Hartmans dirty hit on Ehlers. Blue players are taking liberty with our star players and are not being forced to answer the bell.
  25. Not a chance this regime goes into the season without a veteran backup who is a clear leader on the team. Streveler will be qb#2 with the slight chance Wilson beats him out. But that's unlikely given the guy who is currently HC. If i had to bet, I'd say Dolegala and Patterson won't even see the first preseason game.
