  6. AI will be controlling the gene pool by then.....
  7. Predicting 50 years from now is an amazing feat of AI. I mean to know how rosters shape up in 2071 with players not even born yet is downright amazing.
  8. Confused as to why I'm not seeing W as the predicted winner for every year for the next 50 years. Weird. Knew AI was a joke. This proves it.

  13. My key point is that this year is his best shot at getting the team to commit to some development runway. If he doesn't come North this year, we cannot wait around and must pivot away from him IF we have a better candidate to develop.
  14. So when does Elgersma find out if he can obtain a work visa or not....Certainly seems like a lot of dithering around with this guy...IF his playing in the UFL hinges on the visa, you would think the powers that be down there would expedite his request...For all he knows this could be a very long belabored procedure and his future hangs in the balance... I hope to hell his agent has the sense to at least approach our organization and give us something to go by, as the clock is ticking down...The whole handling of this kid is looking shoddy at best...
  15. The thing that I question is expectations. It seems that the Toronto Maple Leafs have higher expectations than the Winnipeg Jets.
  16. Wilson def needs to show this camp he has taken the next step and has advanced.....If he hasnt...I could see him losing the 3rd spot to Thorne who we may see as a legit development guy like we had in Brown. Has the makeup of a real good CFL style QB As for elgersma....he has wasted 2 valuable yrs now of development...and longer he pisses around he is even further behind in any realization of potential. If he balks all yr again...and in meantime we find a legit guy who shows progress and development thru the yr..that.. and or sign a already established guy in the 2027 FA period...I'd trade him away pronto as if he finally came in 2027 after 3 yrs in the abyss...he aint gonna be your answer anytime soon...and if handed it just cause we have a lil chub over a Canadian QB which I feel is irrelevant and pointless...expect several yrs of scuffling as a team
  17. Expansion team for what?....and a shared facility is totally not a bad idea...I agree Yeah Edm and CGY not too concerned with in regards to support...they get back to winning....and CGY gets some better facilities....they both be fine....Both tho are fair weather fan cities for sure tho
  18. That is certainly a gamble that Elgersma is taking. As I have stated in my post, Elgersma's runway certainly hinges on him signing with the Bombers. Once signed he is obligated to 3 years unless actually signed to the NFL during the offseason window. No more searching around playing the waiting game or nonsense like that. At the point of signing it is highly unlikely we cut ties with him before that 3 years is up unless he is a complete dud. However, the longer he takes to sign the more the odds go up that begin to look at alternate plans such as trading his rights etc. If in the meantime we find other guys, yep we may move on that's why my post clearly indicated that the amount of runway he will get is dependent on him signing. Not so sure that Wilson is our number 3 right now. He is there atm but if I were to guess Wilson is an insurance policy nothing more. If our new QB recruits don't crash and burn they are favorites for both number 2 and 3.
  19. That's not a horrible idea. Kind of like what New york does with the Giants/Jets.
  20. I'm not so sure about this. Maybe if he got here the year he was drafted. But the waiting game he's played, imo...has kind of forced the Bombers to look else where for the future QB. If they find someone or a couple guys who they think are legitimate future starters I don't see why they would wait for Elgersma to develop.
  21. The only available young QB that is a free-agent is Cameron Dukes. If we need to add some experience behind Collaros, he might be worth a look (again) for QB2.
  22. Scheif gonna hit 100 points easily. 3 point night again. Dudes in beast mode since day 1 and hasn’t stopped.
  23. They got it. Thanks to Scheifele. Basically held the puck all of OT, before feeding KFC.
  24. Chevy has a job until he retires here. Accept it.
  25. OT. Jets need the extra point.
  26. Gaffe by Peabo kind of takes a dump on a real good period by the Jets.
  27. 3 2. Bryson with the huge fugg up and a pretty nice 30th goal of the season for Tyler Bertuzzi.
  28. Jets waking up and absolutely dominating the entire 2nd period so far. Dominating doesn’t do it justice with 8 minutes to go in period 2 I’m not sure Chicago has really touched the puck 2 1 jets. If they make it, look out… cuz they appear to be streaking at the right time. 3 1. Rosen with his 2nd as a Jet. That’s 2 goals in 38 seconds. Zhilkin with his first nhl point on rosens goal.
  29. Edmonton & Calgary will come back attendance wise if their teams are competitive. Montreal is averaging over 20,000 a game so they're doing alright. Macciocia says that they're in a position to make some money. They don't have the corporate boxes needed to be profitable. there's an ownership group in Montreal trying to snag an expansion team for Montreal. he was saying a new stadium of around 35000 would be needed. He wants the Als to be a part of it if Montreal gwets an expansion team. He realizes that the stadium needs to be used at least 200 times a yera to be profitable.
