  1. Past hour
  2. This works out perfect. This week - good game - clinch playoff spot. Next game - bad game - no effect on standings Eastern semi - good game - win that one Eastern final - bad game - sneak out with a win because Vaval scores 3 return TDs Grey cup - good game we win Easy.
  3. You have to go back to about mid-2023 to see the last time Zach had 2 good games back to back. He had 3 in a row, and 2 to start the year. Which indeed makes for long odds against us. If he's just ok, 70%, 8+ ypa, 250+, 1 td, no picks for all the rest of our games, we have a chance. If we get that Zach and the dominant run game we could have, we have a good chance. But our run game is boom or bust, and even when it's booming, we don't lean on it. In his 3 best games this year, Brady is averaging 8.7 ypc and 15 carries. We won 2 of those games and were close in all 3, but even then we couldn't/wouldn't pound the rock. Since week 10 (9 games), we've given up an average of 19.77 points per game. Including 31 to Toronto, 34 to the riders, and 32 to the stamps. We've only given up more than 34 points once this year. With the insane amount of turnovers/defensive scores we've given up, as well as the amount of TOP and yards against us, that's pretty crazy. We have some of the fewest ints, TFL, sacks, etc, but we've given up the fewest TDs.
  4. If we can't beat the Riders with Mair at QB, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
  5. I love this on every level, sincerely....
  6. Collaros has not put together two good games back to back all year, so the odds are really stacked against us.
  7. Plus that would mean the Riders would be in our dressing room. The thought of watching them beat us in the GC at home and then going to celebrate in our room is just gross - no thank you.
  8. A couple of good changes, but Demski is a BIG loss.
  9. A Bomber- Rider Cup game would be a once-in-a-lifetime event and great for fans. Sadly, I do no think the Bombers will survive the east final or semi-final.
  10. I resemble that remark. I can see a Montreal-Hamilton east final. I am leaning towards The Als advancing due to their vicious defence, but I think it will be close. That would make for good TV ratings.
  11. It would be bittersweet too... Goveia not being around to see it would be a shame.
  12. You guys are crazy. F**k everyone who isnt a Blue Bomber player/fan. If we dont win the Grey Cup i hope it gets lost and no one wins it.
  13. Today
  14. It would be poetic justice for Hamilton to win it here
  15. My crystal ball has the same matchups but I think BC may have to travel to Calgary. You have Cal at 9-9 meaning they lose to Tor & Edm which I don't see. Toronto is on their what 5th string QB? Edmonton is still scrappy but they aren't playing the uninspired Bombers again, and should be eliminated by that point anyway. Calgary probably goes 2-0 to finish at 11-7. BC has Edm & Sask so they have the tougher match-ups but it may come down to what Sask does with their roster for that last game. If Sask wants all their guys sharp for playoffs then BC has a tough time in Regina. I think BC also goes 2-0 or 1-1. Going 2-0 gets them the WSF but 1-1 may give it to Calgary it so it's going to be a tight race all the way to the end.
  16. He's been overlooked badly on a few routes, though. Idk, Zach/the system really seems like oil and water with Mitchell for some reason. I could see him really lighting it up next year with another team, especially against us. I have no expectations for Wheatfall. I'd rather see us work in Echols, but it isn't gonna happen.
  17. I like Doman, I like what they are trying to do in that market, I like a bunch of their football guys. McDairmid, Bourgoin, Young, Ringmaiden, etc. I like Rourke a lot more after he spoke out against the rules. They got a bunch of guys on the roster I like. I love the way they rebuilt that DL, too. I love Buck the person; I had high hopes for him as a football mind and coach. I could see his last year here being what it was due to how the mafia works. Really don't like Awe and a couple of other guys.
  18. Aside from the Hamilton game, Mitchell hasn't really been targeted. So no downside in throwing Wheatfall in there IMO. Losing Demski is a huge loss for the team though and for Zach.
  19. Cobb and Wheatfall in for Demski and Mitchell seems like a significant downgrade... Good to get Houston back on D.
  20. Buck is a guy I really wanna go ice fishing with... I can root for him.
  21. Yep, it's matt nichols all over again. The final move of any deep route is coming back to the ball and not by a small adjustment either. Difference is, nichols could manage the game. If we do that like we did vs hamilton, we got a chance. If we don't, we've got no shot.
  22. I am also leaning on a BC Mtrl Cup this year......I got to know Buck outside of football, and he is a really nice family guy, so based on that I hope if we don't win it BC does for Buck.
  23. So in summary our Blue Bombers are East division champs winning the Grey Cup handily against who cares. Nice.
  24. Quickly looked at the games left and the standing and my perfectly imperfect crystal ball has the West playoff picture looking like this; Sask 1st at 13-5 and awaiting the winner of the western semi between BC at 11-7 hosting Cal. at 9-9 in that Western semi. Wpg. and Edm. end tied at 8-10, but due to point differential Wpg crosses over to face Mtrl. in the East semi as Hammy who has the season series with Mtrl. awaits the winner
  25. Yes but let’s look at this with in-depth analysis, objectivity and the conclusion I keep coming up with no matter the season no matter the record is, it’s confirmed, Riders suck and smell really really bad, like see a doctor bad.
