  1. Past hour
  2. Yep wherein lies the problem. In his first stint he was seen as an almost glorified running back. He goes to the NFL and it becomes, well he must not be that bad of a passer if he is getting looks in the NFL. And now he's back, and he's just as bad (or worse) as a passer and he can't run. But I guess now its because the team is O-Line is shitty and not that he isn't a great QB?
  3. He can’t run the ball like that anymore. He’s getting run down by de’s when he’s outside the pocket.
  4. I can see Houston replacing Vaval at CB but wonder if he stays on the AR to do return duty? If he stays on then who gets taken off to meet the ratio? Are we ever going to get Bailey onto the AR? IMO Mitchell needs to be replaced. Even starting Corcoran in his place seems a better option and gives us a ratio benefit. I'd like to see what Echols could do as a replacement but O'Shea seems reluctant? I've gone so far to suggest Mitchell should be released outright. What the heck is the status for Sterns and Parker. Both on 1 game IR but not practising yet? Any chance they might be ready this week? Obviously Sterns might be next up at receiver if he can play. I don't understand why some players sit on the 1 game IR ( Parker ) when they've shown no signs they could practice. If that's the case then why didn't they get put on 6 game IR? Is this some sort of illusion on confusing opponents?
  5. His stats are pretty similar to what he had in 2019... Accuracy the same at 66.7, Efficiency close at 72.4 now vs 72 in 2019, INT rate worse this year at 7.6% compared to 6 then... both numbers absolutely horrible but I digress, but he has absolutely refused to run the ball compared to then... 726 Yards rushing in 2019... even 272 yards through 13 games last year compared to 106 this year through 12.
  6. Yup no matter the situation always repping our colors wherever I go. 🙂

  8. From my layperson's eyes, Strev looks uncomfortable when he drops back and goes thru his reads, is it confidence, pass protection, injury all the above?
  9. CFL buckets the stats into 0-9, 10-19, 20+. That is measured from the LOS to the Reception point, not where the QB throws it from. Streveler is 9/17 for 5 TDS and 2 INTs through Week 14 But those 9 completions have gone for 198 yards so almost all of them at right around 20, or going into the end zone which is a fun stat.
  10. 2019 team vs this one is definitely not a good comparison. I agree. The 2019 team could play bully ball and this year we are getting pushed around.
  11. We don't have the talent. Mistake free football is a pipe dream. Championship teams have the horses to overcome their mistakes.
  12. If only all the problems we are having now were easily identifiable before our wet fart of an offseason. Oh well. Sneak into the playoffs with two injured QBs, make a late season trade for QB on a team missing the playoffs, go on a run, profit? I would say its 2019 all over again, but Collaros arrived to a team on the cusp. If we picked up a QB they would show up to a team on the can.
  13. get in the playoffs and anything can happen, but even that is looking really tough to do.
  14. The only qualified passer with a better accuracy than he has is Adams. Other than that the only QB who has worse accuracy with more attempts than him is MBT. 70% of Strevelers attempts are also coming within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. Adams for example is at 48% of his passes from 0-9 yards past the line of scrimmage. Adams almost has as many passes between 10-19 as Streveler has total (91 to 105). Hell, Bo has 76 attempts more than 20 yards down field... so yeah Streveler for sure should have better accuracy than those guys.
  15. I'm sensing the cliche's will be coming out in full force this week i.e., doing some soul searching, looking for answers, I believe in this team, this lockerroom, need to take a good hard look in the mirror, we need to play better etc etc We're 6 and 6, the season is obviously not lost yet, we're not firing anyone at this stage probably not even sitting any starter but status quo keep the course is I think being legitimately challenged at this point.
  16. Might have to cut the grass. We'll see. If I am the Ticats I am running him straight at Vaval, who seems to have his head surgically fused into the forward looking position.
  17. To continue to pile on Streveler The Bombers are 7th in the league is TD drive percentage at 16.8%. Montreal is last at 11.6% Streveler was 4/16 Week 2. 0/1 Week 5. 1/8 Week 7. 1/7 Week 8. 1/13 in week 9. 0/4 in week 14. So overall that is 7/49 so... something like 14%... the only offense worse than the Bombers with Streveler at the helm is Montreal and their pu pu platter of QBs they've trotted out this year The Bombers are SIGNIFICANTLY better with Collaros at the helm. Whether that is a change in playcalling to better fit Streveler, or because of his knee, or Collaros is just that much better is up to debate. Sure he is 2-0, but getting those wins against a BC team at home coming off a bye when Rourke is known to have the yips against the Bombers, and then against Toronto when Special Teams and the Defense were playing out of their minds (Jefferson had the highest rated PFF game ever if you are into that metric) is a tad misleading.
  18. Yeah, I love Strev for everything he has given us, but he isn't the present or the future. The picks he has thrown in the games he has played were arguably worse than even the ones Zach has thrown. He can't run anymore. He can't seem to read a defence. I think for next year we have two options, neither a guarantee: - Elgersma comes up north and goes full Rourke season 1 - Get lucky with a B-tier free agent, similar to Fajardo with the Elks.
  19. Lol, and how many passes have those guys thrown compared to Streveler? Like a million??
  20. That's a horrible comparison. Not only by amount of throws by distance as well. I'd bet Strev has less than 5 throws beyond 15yrds this year. People can talk all they want about how good he is or isn't. At the end of the day, defenses do not respect his throwing ability.
  21. Common man. He looked good against B.C. and their putrid defense in week 2, but since then he's been gawd awful. He was terrible in the win against Toronto and has been terrible since. The protection was spotty last game but Streveler looked lost. He constantly makes ridiculous sidearm school yard throws, makes terrible decisions, isnt accurate as a passer, cant read defenses, and is barely a threat to run anymore which was his bread and butter. Lets be real, he wasnt good back in 2019 either when he took over for Nichols which is why they went out and got Collaros in the first place. Streveler hasnt progressed as a QB. Thanks for the 2019 playoffs but its time to look forward and move on. He's not a starting QB.
  22. Anyone pencilling in those home wins against good teams, even with Collaros healthy? I don't know. We haven't beat a single winning team yet. Not one.
  23. I didn't see any of his work in TC but did watch his very small body of work in the 2024 GC and was intrigued?
  24. Maybe 2024? I’m pretty sure this preseason he might have thrown one pass over 10 yards. I mean, I’d hope you’re right, obviously I want any Bomber QB to do well.
  25. Making changes at this point is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Gives you something to do but won't make any difference.
  26. Hoping that Strev will turn into a decent QB at this stage of his career is just wishful or maybe even magical thinking.
