Pretty much anyone in the system could replace those two. They are washed up. The locker room is the only place they’d be missed.

That’s a big part of it. his size is basically what’s expected, doesn’t have the athleticism to break away at the top end or separate at the break. he also doesn’t have a great get off move or route running polish to get open. Not like he’s un athletic, or bad technically at his position. he’s just kind of average at every thing save for his hands. He’s clearly got top level hands. He also played 4 years at a small school and basically put up 1 good season of production in a year and a half. A guy like that in a program like that has to do more for more years. His upside would be lawler, but he has a lot of work to do to get close to that.

Looks like he has the physical measurements but not the athleticism? Most of the highlights I am seeing are him making contested receptions, no separation but he prides himself on his work ethic and his route running. Also looks like he had compartment syndrome his last year and lost a chunk of the year due to surgery from that? Could be someone like Wolitarski without the right passport I guess?

Wow, I can't wait. So, if a Mexican beer league can get on Disney+ then why can't the CFL?

So the question, as always with guys with his measurables, is why isn't he in The League?

So I just saw an add for the Mexican (I think) football league. They are going to be streaming on ESPN2 and Disney+...apparently the game is tonight. So I guess we will see.

Trade them for draft picks and move on. You’re not stuck with anyone. Buy them out really. If that’s chevys attitude then I doubt anything changes.

I just want all our players to be healthy again. I think we're stuck with Namesy and Nino for awhile (because I recall Nino signing long term) Ford is definitely due for a promotion

Honestly. I’d move on from Nino and names in the off season via trade if I could. It’s time to insert some speed and youth. Honestly Nino and names are just taking up spots that should be used for younger quicker guys. Nino has been a disappointment the last 2 seasons now. I’d prob bring back Toews cuz although it took a half season, he’s a solid 3rd or 4th line center still and his veteran presence is probably a good thing. I’d also sign Koepke and Barron to new deals. Nyquist can **** off. Try to get that 2C by any means necessary. If it means trading pionk I prob do it cuz Salo is definitely a 1 or 2 rhd. And Salo played well with Samberg also. Just saying I think pionk prob gets you that 2 center. I wonder if Demelo Plus prospect gets you a young maybe unproven 2C. Couple years ago jets had interest in Washington center Connor mcmichael, they should have made the trade cuz dude is lighting it up a bit the past 2 seasons now. Solid numbers. Young also. I don’t think Washington would move him but perhaps that type, where you take a shot on a guy who maybe hasn’t quite put it all together but you think will with the right system and line mates.

That knee injury Stanbeck suffered really affected him. He was the best running back in the CFL hands down when he got hurt. Stanbeck was never as dominant after he came back. Therefore, never saw him play at his full potential very long because of it. Became a journeyman running back.

I've always felt he and Brady O played with similar grit - just gutted it out.
