  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah I think last yr he was creating his base and his idealogy...he expanding and progressing it now.
  3. That's a big meh move...Wallis showed more than Case ever did...
  4. I think this game finalized what we all knew… This years TC MVP winner, is Cooley. Following in the footsteps of the oft mentioned legend tony ortiz and countless others, Cooley won over the fans, media, staff and his fellow players. He tore up the field every time he got a chance and has assured him self a tremendous package in the next couple days. Instead of the usual apple and a road map, he can look forward to a steak sandwich from Simone’s and a business class plane ticket on an indirect flight. In all seriousness, he’s shown he deserves a chance to play in this league. He even had a nice block on a sweep, and a really nice catch in a ball low and behind.
  5. And Wallis is the first release today. Cut to make room for Kody Case, who came off the suspended list.
  6. I remember hating Osh the player, nearly at a Simoni Lawrence level of anger
  7. I figured German, surname Messerschmitt.
  8. Jy has been experimenting a lot with more 40 fronts and blitz schemes. We can always fall back to the 30 fronts dime max cover but I think we will see a lot more aggressive fronts this year. I don’t think any one is prepared for what Jy is gonna do. Buck does know our core guys and coaches well though. We will see if he can then that familiarity into any sort of advantage. He’s been an extremely mixed bag at that in the past. we don’t need to be a team that sends 7-8 often, if we can send two or so extra mixed in and get a good push from 4 that will go soo far.
  9. Yeah. And that Argo team always seemed to have a true nose tackle. They went with a 3 man front & O'Shea/Eiben could just tee off on guys from the ILB spots. I'm sure there were shenanigans aplenty.
  10. I don’t think he will lose interest, but he could end up else where. I love shmecks heart and motor. He might well turn him self into a solid back end of the roster Canadian. For all his work and drive though he isn’t suddenly going to become a guy who can bull rush the pants off guys. I saw a couple great uses of his hands to disengage from blockers and get fill run lanes.
  11. Plenty of bit errr female dogging
  12. And has more upside than Thomas...and is more effective....Schmeck too if we being honest...PR him and let him soak up the pro experience and teaching...we have held on to way worse slugs on the PR before...some for 2 yrs
  13. Hahah...oh my...thing with Osh tho...and not a slight...hes a "do as I say.. and not as I do" kind of guy...as a player he was a prick...one of the sneakiest dirty guys and played on the edge of legal stuff...and was kind of a real prick...total anthesesis of what he claims we look for...I have nothing wrong with that kind of player as that's how I was...and generally kind of player that flourished...I just find it funny cause Osh the player would have a hard time making or staying on the roster of Osh the coach...his saving grace would been his birth certificate
  14. Today
  15. Send him back to the Wpg. Rifles and he might lose interest in football. No reason not to keep him on the PR and help him develop, he already looks better than Kornelson.
  16. Lofton is a decent journeyman lineman and D. Mitchell so far looks about the same grade. Both are replaceable.
  17. I figured Booch surely was Mike O'Shea.
  18. Yeah we definitely have an initial advantage there...buck also knows our defence and what we kinda do...tho we will have changed the vernacular and I also looks like we have expanded it a bit and are gonna be more active up front. Thing with Buck...we know he has issues adapting on fly or making adjustments so if we can pick up the basis of what they do there watching their first game...I think we have a good chance shutting them down
  19. The rifles? Lol Ok...I'm Brandon Dyson...hence why offered to take a bat to a couple knees 😆
  20. And we bicker and sqwuak like family haha
  21. He was but he’s been playing football for 3 years. He was by far the greenest guy on either team, and still performed very well. Idk that it makes sense to keep him rather than have him return, but I’d take him over our depth ni dts.
  22. Alrighty with the preseason done and the regular season only a few short days away its time to start the Lock of the Week contest. Rules are pretty simple. 1. Every week you must pick a player that will score a touchdown. Passing touchdowns don't count. Receiving, rushing, return (interception, fumble, punt and kick) count as a TD 2. There is no limit to the amount you can pick a player. If you want to pick Dalton Schoen every week than you can. 3. If you fail to correctly pick then you acquire a strike. If you correctly pick you do not pick up a strike. 4. If you miss making a pick for the week you will acquire a strike. 5. All picks must be made before kickoff of the team that your selected player is playing in. 6. 5 strikes and you are out of the game. 7. Last one remaining or the one with the least strikes at the end of the year wins. 8. In the highly unlikelihood that players are tied at the end of the year - the winner will be the player who has selected the most different players thought the year. Prize for winner is $50 Bomber Store Gift Card Place your picks for week one below.
  23. Luc Mullinder makes Kate and the TSN crew seems like Straight Fire.
  24. Maybe the PR, he's been injured most of camp.
  25. According to Michael ball on Twitter, his kid made the team
  26. Since the team has salary cap space, hopefully they keep a few guys on the 1 game injured list. Guys like Lofton and D Mitchell can be stashed there instead of going to the PR or being cut.
