  1. Past hour
  2. I bet he’s in camp with someone but doesn’t make an ar. I could see 2 of them gone.
  3. He was due a bonus tho and had a yr left on his deal
  4. Willie, Kyrie, Stan and Paddy... That's what I'm curious about for sure. How far do we turn it over from 2019 and who then are the leaders?
  5. Today
  6. Yesterday
  7. Imagine Brady's numbers if Strevy didn't vulture all those tds from the 1. Then again, it likely kept him from making $400,000. 🤣
  8. Doesn’t seem like Josh Kyle mark and gabe are tuning him out. We lack talent. That’s more on Chevy than Arniel but it’s also partly the result of being an elite team for years now (with a presidents trophy and central banner to show for it) and not having top 12 picks. People love Winnipeg when they play here, some make it home year round for life, getting ppl here tho is still the problem. Perception. Not the free agent destination. So rock and hard place. Be good and not have top 10 picks and not be able to restock the cupboards or be bad like buffalo always and have top 10 picks every year.
  9. Does someone sign kola? I mean surely somebody will sign him. It’s surprising to me as he was just on a video with Tait. Thought that was a sign he’d be back. kola gonna be qb coach now? Can complain about guys getting an extra 20k probably but Walters has had a solid off season so far. willie is the next decision. Normally signed by now tho no? And Kyrie. So far Kyle is 2 for 2. schmek? Looked like he was improving b4 the injury. Decent depth who could easily be cut tho.
  10. happened with Woli last year, we released him in late January.
  11. it is kinda if an NFL team is looking at you...but just for a guy on an expiring deal prior to FA seems odd...why havnt we done same with some others?....not implying any kind of regime bafoonery...just odd
  12. It does, but a true positional C can have that coming out as a pro. Vibert isn’t a pure C, but he is a high floor guy. getting a guy who has experience in a similar system helps a lot too. Kola was a snap specialist. Guys like couture and goosen have been the block captains. Calgary did a great job of fitting fortin in, and identifying a guy who would be turn key for them.
  13. isn't that a typical player-friendly move to give a guy a chance to find a new home? I mean, even if we don't think Kolo is gonna catch on anywhere, still seems like a class move to move on from a guy ASAP and let him find a new situation while teams still have money to spend.
  14. I used to watch the World Juniors and watch the many Jets prospects on the various teams, including Canada and the USA. This year? There are two Swedish defencemen, that's it. I know we've been drafting low for many years now, but man what has happened to our drafting?
  15. wonder why they released Kolo before his deal expired...I sure there are not oodles of teams kicking down his door to sign him before the frenzy...seems odd, but long over due
  16. kharis best chance is how close he is to wade. The mafia really wanted masoli as a fa too. we pined for him a couple times. If nichols could rub off on zach a little bit that would make us a lot better. agree. plus jackson didn’t have ties to mos before getting hired
  17. Really? doesn't a centre need a little bit of seasoning to call the blocking?
  18. any coaching prospect that is worth the hire shouldnt have to have any pre-requisite connection to Osh....serves no purpose and eliminates basically most of the best and qualified available...
  19. I’d still go after woodmansey if he hits FA, but Vibert is also a real sleeper at C too. C is also a spot you can get a high floor draft pick to contribute at right away. Not every year, but many years. And we have historically drafted very well at C under the mafia.
  20. My takeaway: Chevy expects them to keep losing, doesn't think his farm players are any better than what he has, and thinks calling them up will just shatter their confidence. Better to have the vets take the bullet. Not entirely sure how I feel about any of that.
  21. Nichols would be really interesting to bring in. The other former Bombers don't have any connection to Osh, so I'd doubt we see them.
  22. Imo, he’s perfect as a 3rd/4th dt / 6/7th dl. Like you said he’s very useful as a package guy in heavy sets on both sides of the ball. We really need a great imp 3 tech who can kick outside in both 30 and 40 fronts. An imp nose to rotate with lawson would also be fantastic. Major props to schmekel whose crafted himself into a very good end of the roster canadian. Love to see a young big do what ever it takes to be useful. If he takes another step forward that would be incredible, but i’m not expecting that.
  23. Not convinced he was ever even really "here" here. Walters freeing up cash for the big Jefferson extension! I kid. Maybe.
  24. Onward and hopefully upward. It’ll be interesting to see who we fill qb coach with now. I hope this was planned on our part, i suspect it was since jackson is taking a lateral position. I feel like we either go with a club retread, khari, glenn, maybe nichols, or we go with an upside guy from the us. Id also love to get masoli or he retires.
  25. see ya, barely knew ya, and dont wanna anyway
  26. Koala & Thomas are gonzo as players. Great news for the OL. It's too bad that Osh hung on to these guys for so long. They were so bad that they actually became the butt of bad jokes here & on the rest of social media. Any respect fans had for them as players disappeared years ago. That should never happen.
  27. That is a mom job requisite, and I would include pizza pies in that.
  28. Kolankowski was a bad player and ought to have been gone long ago, but it is unnecessarily unkind to call him trash.
