  1. Past hour
  2. From what's been reported, he already has a big say in personnel here so is that really a big selling feature?
  3. Even out side of FA, bc swung a deal last year involving an elite imp T. He said She said. I would not be surprised at all if Walters and Mos came to be at significant odds with the roster. Especially when you look at guys going from favorites to released/un signed like the marine.
  4. The last update on Manu was Nov 5th where Campbell said he didn't see him starting in the next week or two. He's eligible to return on Sunday but he hasn't practiced so that's not happening.
  5. So Argos apparently wanna give osh big say in personelle...obviously they delusional and wanna be wandering the wilderness aimlessly....have at er But new HC and era about to start here. 2 yrs too late but still a good thing
  6. I don't think stud OL are super rare in FA and the Bombers have been on both sides of it. We picked up arguably the greatest OL in CFL history through FA and we've lost a number of really good ones over the last few years.
  7. Would love Drew back. Manu is struggling with rehab with the Lions. He tweaked his knee and was supposed to be out 4 weeks, which wasn't supposed to be season-threatening. But he's missed 4 games plus a bye week, and it sounds like he isn't close to ready to practice or even have an updated timeline to return. Hard to know what to make of his injury/return. It is the kind of thing that can expedite a guy's departure from a team/league. But facing tough injury rehab is as likely to push a guy out of pro football altogether. I hope for the best for him, he was just starting to get on down there.

  9. Unless you are sitting on Wade Miller's lap the past few weeks, it would be hard to find info from anyone else imo. None that is particularly credible. There are those who are pretty good at reading the tea leaves, but I doubt anything has been discussed outside of the mafia right now. They know wassup and that is probably it. That being said, I think Atomic's post is a likely scenario.
  10. Because they think he is better than what they have- in the cases of Ottawa and Toronto, that is nothing. If Dinwiddies is as astute as he seems, he will interview O'Shea but go elsewhere.
  11. Yes we could use a guy like Drew Desjarlais back. Maybe Manu frees up....lol.
  12. Today
  13. Our need exceeds the availability. Imo, 1 stud imp or other wise. The best Ol you can get, FA or trade. Scheming and removing kola would help. That with an optimal ol line up would certainly make us respectable. But the journey to being a team that dominates in the trenches, is long.
  14. Not sure. There are some every year though. Last year alone we lost two in FA.
  15. Imo, kelly is bound for edmonton.
  16. Lapo is 22-50 with one playoff berth as a head coach. Why would you want him back @Goalie
  17. Do you mean what you hear from people in the know? Or do you mean your read on the situation?
  18. How many stud NAT hit free agency? Ditto Stud OL?
  19. From what I hear they are all gone. MOS, Walters, McManus all leaving. Miller will do one more year as CEO but he is on the way out as well.
  20. Yep, that being said we need to add two stud NATs imo.
  21. I think the OL isn't as far gone as some think. Better scheme and better centre I think go a long long way to making them a respectable group.
  22. I felt the same when O'Shea was talked about as a potential HC after only 3 seasons as a ST coach and that seemed to workout well. Any new HC is going to have a learning curve but almost all of the guys being mentioned have a lot more coaching experience than MOS. JY also has had the benefit of working under MOS so he might be the best bet to slide in without it being a complete teardown/rebuild.
  23. DL and WR, you can rebuild quickly with money. OL is as much alchemy as anything. You need the right guys in the right positions, and you need to give them time.
  24. He actually had 2 really bad years😀 but he has helped turn the club around and it will be difficult to move on from him, however the club might not have that choice and everyone is replaceable. I also think he has become more arrogant and less open to changing his ways because of his success. Anyway you slice it I think we fans are in for some lean years.
  25. Seems to be for sure. I don't think we replace Collaros this year because there doesn't seem to be many options and he has a large portion of his salary guaranteed. However, I think our QB room behind him is getting a massive shake up. I don't see Streveler or Wilson back.
  26. Agreed Plus Collaros is at the end of the road with no heir apparent.
  27. So in that inevitability does Kelly end up here.......????We would definitely be in the market for a top notch pivot IF Zack ain't back....AND if that's the case we should be settling our management positions pronto, so we can get on with it
