  1. Past hour
  2. Yes, he failed to seize the opportunity. Probably why we brought in JJ.
  3. I recall Cooley the imp rb was on the roster but eventually fumbled his way off the team.
  4. Well that is certainly one take on it. I don't believe it is at all factual, so I will agree to disagree.

The Jets will dress the same lineup they used in a 4-3 overtime loss at the Dallas Stars on Monday.
  6. Given how O'Shea hung onto players that were close to useless to the detriment of the team, the message had to be that players could play very poorly and still keep their jobs so long as they kissed up. Word gets around.
  7. Today
  8. McManis definitely an improvement BUT I don't think it makes up for the downgrade in other areas in the hammer.....AND I don't care how much muscle cream BoLevi uses....I think this is the year his arm falls off and sitting on the panel will start looking awfully good
  9. Riders sign Josh Woods LBer formerly of BC Lions. Big downgrade there.
  10. Ted Goveia backed up the Brinks truck last year (mostly for our guys lol) and this is what happens the next year after a lot of times. Wynton is a vast improvement for them though. Gonna be tough sledding for BLM's muscle cream bill this year tho.
  11. Nice add for Hamilton but they've lost 3 olineman, two quality wr and their starting rb. Behind the 8 ball right now.
  12. I highly doubt the Bombers would do this... but I would drop Jones and Wilson in a heartbeat if we had a chance to sign McManis... I'd start McManis at MLB and Ayers at WIL... the money would be close to even that way and the production would probably be better
  13. We already saw it last year. When BO went down we went with Peterson initially but the change was made to IMP RB shortly after.
  14. McManis is a guy I would make room for. That being said, it's an SMS world so the numbers have to work. That being said, I would be very surprised if we don't hear of a McManis signing today. I find it hard to believe that the Argos would let him ride into FA early unless he had a number from another team that they just can't match. Would like to see us kick the tires on McEwen, and Shane Ray see if we could make either of them fit.
  15. He's one of those guys every team in the league should consider. It's like when we basically got Biggie by default after his NFL stint. Everyone else didn't have money or a spot, so we offered a princely deal on a real up-and-comer team, but the competition for him was beyond light. That was a brutal mistake by the rest of the league, as he came back and was one of the very best defensive players for a couple of years. His versatility was a keystone to our D, just like BA going to S later on. Ever team should kick the tires on him.
  16. Lmao...I was here 15 years ago. Wasn't road kill then, won't be now. I did no backtracking on this issue whatsoever, you tried to put intent that was not there into my post as a way to defend a piece of turf no one cares about. I criticized an aspect of his coaching, you took that to mean I hated him and was calling him a bad coach. Hate? Maybe, as is the case with anyone on the Rider sidelines, but at no point did I ever state he was a poor coach just that he has a big flaw. Same way I can state that MOS has a big flaw but believe he is a good coach. So, I'm not really the one digging my heels in here, you are. Funny thing is history has shown me to be correct in that regard. Worse yet, we are fighting over the defence of Corey Mace's honor. Double ew.
  17. sure there is room....you get rid of lesser players...and older ones with no upside...hello Jones and Kyrie
  18. Only one lead singer left... Just Danny Hutton... he's in his 80's & I have no idea if he still tours. Negron lived the life of a famous rock singer with all of its excesses. The money, the women, the booze & the drugs. . He became a drug addict & the other band members kicked him out. He never reconciled even though the obit says he met with Hutton in the last year. However, I read a story once where Negron despised Hutton so much blaming him for being the band member who convinced the others to kick him out. One time, he chased Hutton down the street in LA wanting to beat him up when he happened to see Hutton one day out & about. It's a wonder Negron lived as long as he did.
  19. No, trying to give a Grey Cup winning coach the props he deserves. If Osh retires at some point, we'd be lucky to have Mace as a Head Coach. He's another Ryan Dinwiddie. When hired, like Dinwiddie Mace was underrated. The question for both was, "Why are we hiring him??"
  20. You constantly backtrack & then dig your heels in the ground wanting to defend a piece of turf no one cares about. The thing is, you actually know what you're talking about but are so averse to losing an argument you'll fight to the end hoping to wear the other person out. I know all about that as I did the exact same thing a long time ago. As far as many members here not liking me? No, it's only 2 or 3 posters who shall go nameless. They know who they are so what's the point of naming them? They carry grudges from 2 decades ago on the other old Our Bomber page. I admit that I was an asshat back then. Even though I have changed quite a bit since then (including a name change). No matter what I say they'll never like it. So, I just don't care anymore. They'll always pile on me even if I had won the Nobel Peace Prize. I rarely start an argument here but I still have an opinion. I've mellowed over the years. You'd have been roadkill 15 years ago.
  21. So... you guys are fighting over the riders. Ew.
  22. You being you isn't exactly a treat for many forum members here. Not sure when it is that you decided your opinion allowed you to act like a jerk off to those that disagree with it under the guise of calling a spade a spade? Maybe you ran out of blue pills? Idk...but at least dont put words in others mouths to justify your failure to post civilly. At no point did anyone here call him a bad coach, but you decided to read that into some criticisms of his performance and be the self imposed defender of his honor. I know you are old but not everyone thinks in black and white like you do.
  23. yup forgot about them. My bad.
