  1. Past hour
  2. Can we get the name of Lock of the Week changed to Cheek Clapper of the week?
  3. Your take of my take is a crap take. You are delusional if you think we have the talent to win here. GMs do the signing of players not coaches. You are so hell bent on blaming MOS for our crappy roster that you have lost all objectivity. You have MOS tunnel vision and he is to blame for everything. That is not the reality,
  4. Check the air in my tires Straighten my stereo wires.....
  5. The fact is that the only time collaros looks good in this offense are the games he's got his legs working should say everything we need to know. If we need our qb to run for the offense to work that's a major problem.
  6. This is a crap take. If Osh really felt like he didn't have the horses he would be shuffling bodies in and out to find those horses and he can absolutely goto his GM and say "I need this.kind of player for this position". The fact that it's not happening and he sticks with the same old approach tells me everything you need to know. The #1 problem on this team is complacency. Complacency in the way they build the roster, complacency in the way they approach preparation for the game and complacency in games. It's coaching #1. Osh has lost his edge.
  7. So what the hell has happened to our fa returner Logan...Why on earth did we sign the guy....for that matter why did we bring in Mitchell?? Just bull$hit moves ...There has to be some serious questions about offseason moves ....letting talent walk and bringing in duds...Where the hell is the accountability
  8. Strev is a veteran. If he hasn't figured that out yet I doubt he ever will. He's had NFL coaching and hasn't improved. Think it's time to give Wilson some reps.
  9. I think Streveler is just good enough to win games when the D and ST play well and he's had a week of prep time as the starter. We've seen him do this. But I don't see him as a QB who can take over a game or legitimately be our QB of the future. I also think Collaros is going to be right back in the starting lineup, given how this team has managed injuries recently.
  10. So take Lawler in CFL Fantasy this week?
  11. Coaching to some degree is to blame, but players taking stupid penalties, losing the ball, you gotta hang a big part of it on the players too. It's easy to say that let's replace Jake Thomas with Woods, and then replace Vaval with Houston and we will win.....but that's not reality. Our problems go much deeper than coaching, and roster usage. We don't have the horses this year. No roster usage, or amount of coaching is going to get us over that hump. We could have a couple more wins this season if we clean up mistakes that players made though. I'm sorry but Cam Allen whiffing on every tackle he attempts is not on coaching, our secondary being unable to cover man is not on coaching, our hogs on the OL getting schooled by every DL is not on the coaching .....or at least primarily. At what point do we stop talking around here like we have a championship calibre club that is being misused. We are talent defiicient. Coaching can help cover that up, but it will always result in a poor record. When half your starters wouldn't start on more than a couple teams besides us that is talent deficiency. We have too many gaping holes in our lineup where we are starting guys that are not performing well but are performing about as well as one would expect.
  12. I have lost faith in our quarterbacking...Streve still has some positives but the injury he suffered and is still recovering from (hence the lack of running) is definitely hurting his game....so much so that he seems to have lost confidence in himself...Will we see Zack back....big question mark?? Milt has a piece saying he should hang them up NOW....That could leave us in the position of putting Wilson behind centre...IF Streve can't get it done....Looks like we may be behind the eight ball for the rest of the year...and a good time to sort this club out and keep what we're going to go with next year and dump the also rans....
  13. coaching....mistake free coaching....or at least competent That would fix a lot We also have been basically out coached in last 3 Grey Cups too...be it in game decisions...schemes...adjustments...inferior roster...penchant to play injured guys....this isnt a thing that came out of nowhere this yr...its been simmering and sauteing for yrs
  14. A LOT less mistakes. You are right, doesn't have to be mistake free but we are committing turnovers and taking penalties like the 2022 RoughRiders. The issues they have are in a big part because of a lack of talent.
  15. exactly...a 100 percent healthy..or close to Strev next yr....ZC if back, and Wilson...as well as hopefully Elgersma after an off-season of actually grabbing a legit FA receiver and Oline guy, and or trading for some, a real OC nad a pro level coaching is deserved to them, and then judge....and if that all stink then...well...we screwed for that yr and time to clean house in the QB department
  16. Vaval right now...sucks as a corner....he isnt reacting or aware....he too busy thinking still...he's a hinderance right now.... well you can pull Vanterpool for one....And if you replace Mitchel with Echols theres a returner...Also Cobb for one of Jake or Korn...There's another option at returner.... Bailey can come on for any Canadian....Ball...Thomas...etc Or...Give Castillo all 3 kicking duties and swap the punter with Baily...Punter guys presence on our roster isnt gonna win us any games and be key.... Woodbey has usurped what visions they had for Ayers....so drop Ayers as well for a game or 2 and get Woods/Adams on.... Lotsa ways we could fix some things with minor roster config, but Osh is too much a stubborn dipshit to do it....Cant make us worse...BUT could make us better Parker and Houston for Lawson Jr and Vaval would make a world of differnce as well
  17. This right here… we’re basically arguing and hoping someone will figure out how to make chicken salad out of this chicken sh!t offence…
  18. Didn't need mistake free football.... need to make less mistakes and stop continually making them... like last game if Sergio makes his fgs or collaros doesn't give away free points trying to force passes downfield bombers.could have won. This team is just not taking the issues they have seriously enough at this point.
  19. Given that our OL is ****, our receivers are ****, our OC is ****... i just don't get piling on the backup qb... not like collaros looks any good either. Problems with this offense go far beyond qb.
  20. it's not anymore....it's currently....he has less recovery than even Schoen had and before retearing his ACL again he had zero burst...minimal ability to separate...or create separation after the catch...It's rare at best for any player save for a lineman to come back first yr post op to show they have regained it all...doesnt happen...Yr 2 tho yes.....they should be back, and if not 90% That's where you need to judge Strev with his running ability. Also any (all) QB's here need and deserve the chance in 2026 camp to show what they can do with legit offensive weapons and an actual pro playbook...or pro coordinator...starting all new will be worse than this yr Right now as mentioned yeah he looks uncomfortable...and very rushed.....and I sure its a combination of what's mentioned...and also how he wired...he very high energy...he needs to slow his process down, a bit as well and then things will develop a bit more on field...and also with him...coaching can fix that but I profess over and over our coaching is killing us...and not just at Q.B If he look same as he does this yr, next yr...well then yeah you cut bait, but judging it now is really not truly indicative...Our offence as a whole all yr has been a clusterfuck...even ZC more times than not looked like a first yr starter Barring a trade...we kinda relegated to what we have in house...and possibly Elgersma...Is ZC gonna play again this yr...let alone next?...no clue...But whoever wins the starting job next yr....you cant roll into the yr with no experienced, let alone capable QB as your number 2 Love Schoen and Strev but we banked on both coming off not even a yr removed from major surgery as guys we were gonna lean on and ignored any other possible/option...and we paying for it Same can be said for dline...Look at the guys who were available in FA...guys who were available via trade (Flo) and we just stood pat cause we figured 2025 would manifest like 2019-2021 and that in itself was wishfull thinking as some those guys were already at their apex and only direction they had was down We grossly mismanaged and misjudged our roster, and looked backward and not forward...had no succession anywhere other than BO in place....and look at us now...teetering on a possible tear down and rebuild We should never have been in this spot yet here we are....and we could really be a lot better than we are, but our coaching isnt where it should be, and we too stubborn to make changes Before I forget...Wilson has the best arm of all our QB's and the best overall skill set...he needs polish and experience.....and well we know here getting the polish and experience is a big ask
  21. Yep wherein lies the problem. In his first stint he was seen as an almost glorified running back. He goes to the NFL and it becomes, well he must not be that bad of a passer if he is getting looks in the NFL. And now he's back, and he's just as bad (or worse) as a passer and he can't run. But I guess now its because the team is O-Line is shitty and not that he isn't a great QB?
  22. He can’t run the ball like that anymore. He’s getting run down by de’s when he’s outside the pocket.
  23. I can see Houston replacing Vaval at CB but wonder if he stays on the AR to do return duty? If he stays on then who gets taken off to meet the ratio? Are we ever going to get Bailey onto the AR? IMO Mitchell needs to be replaced. Even starting Corcoran in his place seems a better option and gives us a ratio benefit. I'd like to see what Echols could do as a replacement but O'Shea seems reluctant? I've gone so far to suggest Mitchell should be released outright. What the heck is the status for Sterns and Parker. Both on 1 game IR but not practising yet? Any chance they might be ready this week? Obviously Sterns might be next up at receiver if he can play. I don't understand why some players sit on the 1 game IR ( Parker ) when they've shown no signs they could practice. If that's the case then why didn't they get put on 6 game IR? Is this some sort of illusion on confusing opponents?
  24. Today
  25. His stats are pretty similar to what he had in 2019... Accuracy the same at 66.7, Efficiency close at 72.4 now vs 72 in 2019, INT rate worse this year at 7.6% compared to 6 then... both numbers absolutely horrible but I digress, but he has absolutely refused to run the ball compared to then... 726 Yards rushing in 2019... even 272 yards through 13 games last year compared to 106 this year through 12.
  26. Yup no matter the situation always repping our colors wherever I go. 🙂
