  1. Past hour
  2. I want nothing to do with that bald-headed ferret.
  3. Yes..but only because if he leaves we will be massively rebuilding
  4. You really believe a stubborn hard-headed guy like O'Shea is all of a sudden going to stop playing favorites, stop his blind vet loyalty, stop creating braindead gameday rosters, stop his piss-poor in game management/decisions, etc, etc?!?! Not a chance.
  5. 100%. It’s the split of blame, and who/if they can improve for next year.
  6. I think mos in torontos targets would include kramdi, gauthier, hallett, cody, strev and maybe a vet or two we’d cut. I don’t think he’d go full hamilton on our cuts. I’d send him a very nice thank you note at the very least
  7. Today
  8. I think you’d see Pinball Clemon’s trademark smile quickly vanish while thinking what have I done?
  9. MOS and KW have both fallen short the past few years. I've said it multiple times and so have others.
  10. I'm not defending MOS, and I can give you a laundry list of poor GMing over the past 3 years as well but crickets about that. We don't play Dolegala in a Grey Cup and MOS is the worst coach ever, we lose an all star team of talent in two off seasons and it's all nothing to see here...carry on. It just seems over the top. Even have some posters suggesting that Walters did a great job but MOS ruined it which is insane. MOS is likely going to Toronto so we don't need to worry about him coming back, but KW should be given the shoe as well,
  11. True. However, I am simply pointing out the pretty disproportionate amount of blame being assigned to each around here. And I don't believe that after 10 years that is particularly applicable in this case.
  12. Jake+Kolo+Hogan in Toronto with MOS would make many of us chuckle.
  13. If Osh leaves for the Argos look for Jake Thomas to call it quits & maybe even Kolankowski. Although the Bombers just may not renew their contracts. That would be funny if Thomas surfaces in Toronto. I'm almost gleeful with anticipation.
  14. In pro sports, the only loyalty is to the money. If the Argos give him financial freedom then Osh isn't coming back to coach anyone here because every player in that locker room would leave for the very same thing. The only thing O'Shea cares about is his family.
  15. The thing that might end up keeping OShea here is loyalty not to Wpg, but to the group of vets that want one more crack at winning See Zac's comments of wanting to return with the group he's battled with.
  16. it’s the cfl, you can very easily fail up into promotions, forget carrying over hc gigs. Every established hc in this league could keep coaching in this league till they died if they wanted. Plus, all coaches in pro sports and football have a half life. No matter how good they are. And some times a coach just needs a change of pace. Like when saban was with the dolphins. Football in general, remember that kelly just got another job running a whole league and that mack wasn’t out of work longer than he wanted to be. I mean how many times has chris jones returned now, and how long till he returns? Think she’d come back for a victory lap if that happened? bet she would lol. I love lapo as a football mind, color and panel guy. Though I do get a lil nauseous flash back every time he says “throw behind the line route” of nichols throwing it to harris on 2nd and 8 then him churning for 4 yards and us punting again. I don’t need to see that guy running an offence again in the cfl. There are young guys in this league and country who deserve a shot to move up. as well as players aging out ready to start taking low level roles. Look at what ssk has done with their young staff. I don’t think any one needs retreads.
  17. Just accept, you're getting GM/HC/OC Paul Lapolice. I would ask him about it on Twitter but he blocked me like a decade ago for chirping him. He and his wife both had thin skin
  18. And yet...others are interested in his services.
  19. I think the issue is that we are going on 3 years of waiting for O'Shea to correct his mistakes and it feels like he is doubling down on them instead. I'm perfectly ok with giving him more time with us, but I'm heavily skeptical because we have trended downwards over this time with no signs of change.
  20. I would LOoove to see mos give an honest assessment of what he needs done to the roster, from his coaching staff and what he needs to do better. But I think all we’d get publicly is a no changes needed we know what we need to fix and it’s easy. Like we did last year.
  21. So what kind of specific corrections are you looking for? Has anyone asked MOS what he needs to get better at as a Head Coach, what corrections he needs to make heading into 2026? What do you think he’d say? Do you think his public answers would be different than his behind closed door ones? This is what I would be interested in knowing we wouldn’t get access to the complete answer or what he’s really thinking.
  22. I also like the wall between gm/hc over all. But with the limitations of the cap and coaching roster, I think a lot of guys need to do double duty. I think having a hc / agm working with a gm / sdpp(or president) and using that pay to slot in more scouting especially with in the cfl offers a gigantic advantage. That is a damn good point! If we keep JY, maybe as an ast hc, I think he would be an upgrade to mos. With out walters, down grade imo. You know mos was the hc here before 2017 right? The 3 previous seasons to that even. 3 blown gcs, 2 years of heavy under performance due to the roster, Mos and our success are not mutually inclusive by any means. Why not give another strawman a chance?
  23. Idk, I mean we could do worse. A lot worse actually. I’m not sure milanovich would be my primary target, but he’d be better than some junk retread.
  24. Its like people here have forgotten what it was like pre 2017... If Osh leaves, 90 percent of the posters in this thread are going to be all Man, why the **** did we let Osh go. Why would we not at least give him a chance to correct his mistakes- dude had one bad year... like holy **** guys... get a grip FFS...
  25. I would be an upgrade. Well maybe not, well no i wouldn’t be but you get my point and based on our O’s production and the use of certain players it would be tough to swallow if the idea is for him to continue to cut his teeth as an oc for the BB’s with the goal of him gradually getting better.
  26. Like I said, Eric Deslauriers https://www.bluebombers.com/eric-deslauriers/ Or Brock Sunderland https://www.bluebombers.com/brock-sunderland/ There's also Jim Jauch who, like Sunderland, has experience scouting players who are familiar with a 100 yard field and goal posts at the front of the endzone.
  27. So would Hamilton not be interested in talking to Kyle Walters about their GM job?
