Clearing that up...

According to HNIC's Elliotte Friedman the Florida Panthers have shown an interest in Mathieu Perreault. Subsequently the Jets have 3 scouts at the Panthers game tonight.

Perrault was pretty dominant as a third line centre in Anaheim...  I remember he had a crazy FO percentage - and then the Jets just never really used him as a Centre - always went with Jim Slater in critical situations ha

yet he has been useful scoring wise,

Ok... but giving up a top ten 1st round and Perrault  for Huberdeau helps the Jets in what way...?

I'd give up our second in a shallow draft easy...
