cautiously excited for week two

Ok ok I admit. Week one was a disappointing out come. But I think there's plenty of good narratives for week two.

-Will Willy rise to the occasion in week two?

-Will Lapo's schemes be executed?

-Will Harris continue to be the work horse we hoped for?

-Will Willy and Smith find chemistry?

-Will Dressler have an impact?

-Will Adams and Davis continue to impress?

-Will the o-line hold their own?

-Will the d-line get any pressure on Calgary's suspect o-line?

-Will Randle continue his dominance?

-Will we score 30?

-Will we come out with some urgency in the first half for once?

-Will we beat Calgary for the second time in Calgary since 2002?

-Will Medlock make a 60 yard field goal?

Should be interesting to see how everything unfolds.

If they don't make the play offs clean house... it's the CFL you can rebound in a year or two as long as you have some canadian depth

I think we take this game provided Willy and the Bombers keep the turnovers to 2 or less.  Of course, turnovers are the key to pretty well any football game.

Make the Stamps earn their points by marching the ball down the field and I think we can keep them below 20 points.  Not a very impressive O-line over there with some losses over the past few years.  Same thing with their receivers - the depth is not as noticeable as it was 2 seasons ago.

I think we will see a lot more pressure on Mitchell than against Glenn last week.  Mitchell is more evasive but lacks Glenn's quick release.  3 QB sacks and several hurries resulting in some inaccurate throws and an INT for Mitchell.

Bomber offense will continue to struggle with just over 300 yards total offense and one TD but will benefit from good field position thanks to a couple of good kick returns, one excellent punt return and a couple turnovers by Calgary at their end of the field.

Bombers - 25

Stamps - 18

We are going to need Willy to be at or near his best, plus a large amount of luck. The team confidence has to be shaky at best, and we need this win to give hope that we are not going to be looking at 0 & 6 in the near future.

The problem is that if you fire MOS it's still the ineffectual Kyle Walters at GM. Unless you think we have all sorts of talent and the coaches are simply not getting the best out of it... but me I think this team lacks talent more than it lacks coaching.

I think we do have talent. or at least enough talent to make the playoffs in a bush league.

Well if you think we have the talent then you must believe the problems lie with the coaching staff.

I think there ought to be a caveat-"except at quarterback"

Talent? Didn't pressure their QB, didn't tackle, didn't cover their WR, didn't run the ball , only protected our QB when they only rushed 3 guys......ya a pretty talented group
