Montreal traded Lars Eller to Washington for 17 & 18 2nd round picks

 Chicago trades Andrew shaw to Montreal for 39th and 45th overall in 2016

When Bettman announced there were some trades I thought we traded the 2 nd pick....

Bettman scared the **** out of me when he announced trades prior to Jets pick 

Jets pick is in....

and it's a good thing they didn't say the Jets were trading, it would have felt like a bait and switch

Now was it Goalie who said Laine wasn't coming here and that Dreger was a liar

now to wait for the 22nd pick (though the Bomber game will have started by then,) and to wait for more trade announcements

Finally the wait is over...

who knows we may get a captain announcement next week

One of the TSN analysts predicted Laine scores 30 goals in the NHL

by the way Laine doing media interview right now and for all his playing things up he comes across very humble. Was unfairly asked if Toronto made a mistake and he said he wouldn't say anything about that but was proud to be a Jet.

What a jerk question to ask Laine... Did the Leafs make a mistake? It's all about the Leafs.

Yup bush league question. Laine shows maturity. A lot of the "brash" stuff was clearly him having fun and not arrogance

Chevy said since they won the draft lottery they were "on board with this pick". Not sure if he meant #2 in general or Laine. He also said they had several good and late offers but dismissed them all and wanted Laine
