NHL Draft is approaching soon, so thought I'd start an official thread to discuss the draft and any trades that happen between now and then.

So glad we weren't in on Lucic.  One of the most overrated players in the NHL today.

Bruins are apparently eating close to 50% of Lucic's salary.

Gotta think the plan for Jones is another trade.

So any guesses as to who the Jets take now? I'm gonna say Brock Boeser and Jake Debrusk tonight and concentrate on some D men in the later rounds. 

 

Just a little * there tho, Unless guys like Werenski, Provorov (russian factor lol) or Kylington are still there. See them going forward tho. 

 

Not much RW depth for the team either... But definitely lacking LHD too. 

 

I'd be laughing and loving it if They took Svechnikov tho too. Dude is a star in the making. 

Boston now has the #13, 14 and 15 picks in the draft, plus a solid goalie in Jones they could move. Maybe a play to trade Jones and picks to the Leafs for #4?

Rask maybe to Edmonton for 16 and Eberle or something. 

I just hope the sportsnet coverage is as good as TSN's was. TSN was solid on draft day. Sportsnet has lots to live up too here.
